Zachariah died in the 6th century BC, OT Elizabeth was Zachariah's wife. The authors of the NIV got confused when they were re-writing the 400+ year old King James Version. The King James Version was written 1604-1611 and was the Bible used until the NIV replaced it starting on Oct 27 1978.
