If she does, I hope she at least tries to take him down with her (poison etc.)

Even though he can never be truly punished for his crimes: That would require killing him multiple times.

I'm still not convinced that Shomari is entirely the villain here. If what we got from a few pages back is any indication, it seems like the Fennecs weren't as completely innocent or blameless as they lead us to believe.

And one of the tribes or nations that Shomari seemingly wiped out was known for committing extreme acts of cruelty and barbarism upon their victims.

Then, of course, there's the fact he's willing to show mercy to and even bargain with those he conquers, so long as they don't try to cause unnecessary trouble. If he's supposed to be a warlord, he's one of the most reasonable warlords I think I've ever seen.
