In the future, vigilantes are the true heroes, fighting criminals and corrupt officers on a daily basis.
One such vigilante is a barefoot scout who goes by the name Boots--a name he took on after having to slip out of them to get out of a trap. The young man patrols high-risk areas, forging ahead on his bike and relaying information to the tactical and assault squads.
Of course he's not just a looker. He can fight as well, wielding a powerful laser weapon that looks like a fancy sword. The 'blade' is a compact generator that fires beams from the tip, capable of causing blindness and interfering with other devices.
