A bit before the condition of the family members was told by Tenchi to Chaldoa, Tenchi had wandered into the dining hall, seeing the plates of food standing ready for everyone to eat from, but some of the seats were unoccupied, mostly due to Kin, Juna, and Maria sitting in Kin's room, comforting Juna, and Alexander was undergoing surgery to fix the massive hole through his chest.
Taking a seat on her chair, Tenchi had quickly grabbed the massive wing before both Hildegaard and Peridot had taken a seat beside her. But soon, they felt a presence unlike anything before, noticing the normally empty seat across from them was now occupied by a dragoness with a dark red body and dark metallic colored hair, but the hair did obscure one of the eyes, which they could only guess was orange like the visible one.
They calmly looked at her before Hildegaard resumed eating and Peridot was surprised by the casual behavior, but Tenchi looked curiously at the dragoness, "Hey, you are Corohn, aren't you?" The dragoness looked at Tenchi before giving her a faint smile, "You honor me by remembering my name after only seeing me once and hearing my name spoken only once. Yes, I am Corohn the Ridgecore."
Tenchi's eyes went wide, "The Ridgecore? You mean you are Vana's daughter?" Corohn began to gently laugh, "Why so shocked? You thought she had no child or something and they only made one out of a wyvern?" Tenchi was about to answer, but decided against it, and instead she asked, "Hey, after this meal, can we have a talk? I wanna know more about the second Prime." Corohn nodded before taking the black bread she had in front of her, "Of course, now lets just eat." Tenchi had her suspicions about Corohn's food, but asked to make sure, "What is that?" Corohn looked at Tenchi before deciding to just continue eating, but Hildegaard spoke up, "Blood bread. It has Silkskin wyvern blood in it." Corohn looked at Hildegaard before looking at Tenchi with a smile, "I live on a carefully controlled diet of blood from wyverns because I am suffering from methemoglobinemia."
Tenchi looked confused before Corohn looked over to Azura, "Can you give me one of your little knives?" Azura looked confused, but soon pulled out a scalpel from a pocket and with a perfect aim flicked her wrist to make it impale the bread, before Corohn pulled it out and swiftly cut her finger to show her purple blood coming out, shocking Tenchi and Peridot as they touched it and felt as if it was more thick than normal blood, "That's creepy, but kinda cool too." Corohn quickly had rocks zipping up the cut for her as she threw the scalpel back to Azura, giving everyone something to gasp at, since Azura had it impaling her right in the temple, but she was casually still eating, making even Azula shocked until Azura pulled it out, "Oh, thank you for returning it."
Corohn, Tenchi, and Peridot just ignored any further tragedies before the meal time was over and most left the dining hall, but Tenchi was following Corohn out to the wyverns, watching as Chaldoa was feeding the wyverns and waved to them, just in time for Tenchi to ask, "So, are you a warrior, farmer, or something else that put your legacy in the history books, Corohn?" Corohn walked to the pen where Rywigo was laying and sleeping near a second Ridgecore wyvern, "Well, I was the first one to be born from the first Prime. And I am also the mother of the first wyvern lover." Tenchi smiled at that, "So you are Baran's mother?" Corohn nodded before giving a wider smile, "As well as the mother of Kichiro."
Tenchi suddenly stopped and looked at Corohn, "Wait... you are my grandmother?!" Corohn smiled, "Yes, I am. And Baran is technically your aunt." Tenchi remembered Baran quite well, the dragoness who walked around with parts of her head made from basalt with the horns growing out like they were gemstones, and how she had been told that Baran's condition was from her mating with a Cavescale wyvern and being influenced by them. Tenchi gave a light laughter, "This family tree has more branches than a dress has stitches."
Corohn laughed gently before seeing Chaldoa walking up and tossing the Ridgecores their dinner before moving on, making Corohn smile. "Show me your claws." Tenchi nodded and brought forth her ice claws, that seemed to have grown up her arm a little bit, only for Corohn to let hers out and standing with not only two sets, but also having her entire arms and back covered in ice crystals, Tenchi shaking her head, "Such a showoff." Corohn smirked before nodding, "I was the first to master control of the claws. It was a tedious process." Tenchi nodded before shifting her claws to fire, making Corohn whistle, "Wow, that's impressive. What else can you do?" Tenchi was just about to show off the other claws, when she was suddenly feeling a light push from a muzzle on her back, turning around to soon get licked by Arashi, "Hey! Don't scare me like that!" Arashi growled gently and nuzzled Tenchi's chest, making Corohn smile, "She is quite an affectionate girl, I see." Tenchi nodded before Corohn was petting Arashi too.
Tenchi noticed that Arashi was having a note in her maw and gently took it before opening to read it, "Tenchi, I noticed something when we had dinner that I would like you to explain. Come to the house right now. Signed, Hildegaard." Tenchi looked at Corohn, "Sorry for cutting the talk short, grandma, but seems one of my wives wants to talk to me." Corohn just smiled, "Oh, no worries. I'll bring this rascal back to her pen for you." Tenchi tried to warn Corohn, but Arashi was faster and soon Corohn laid on the ground from thunder hitting her.
Wanting to not waste any time having Hildegaard wait, Tenchi spread her wings and flew quickly back to the house, which Hildegaard stood in front of the door to, "Hey Hildegaard, what's up?" Tenchi noticed her expression changing when she realized something with the eyepatch that Tenchi was wearing, "Tenchi, where did you find that eyepatch?" Tenchi looked confused before speaking up, "One of the guards in Morgova gave it to me after I overloaded my cybernetic eye fighting Malicoe. They allowed me to keep it. Why?" Tenchi saw Hildegaard tearing up and her tail lowered, "Hilde? What's going on?" Hildegaard looked at Tenchi before speaking the words that would make Tenchi's blood run a bit cold, "That is Chaline's eyepatch. My... former wife's."
Back in Morgova castle, the guards did their regular patrol around the castle's interior, before the night guards began to do their shift. In one of the more private sections of the castle, one of the guards looked out the window before removing their helmet, the red scales shimmering in the light and with their black hair laying pressed to their head as they watched the sunset, right as they heard the footsteps of someone approaching, quickly turning before saluting Sas'Ha. "Greetings, your majesty." Sas'Ha looked at the guard before nodding, "Watching the sunset again, Fireball?" The dragoness nodded, "Yes, your majesty. It always brings me back home again in my mind to see that burning sphere slowly disappearing."
While speaking, the guard lifted one of her hands to form a fireball and then had it slowly disappear, "But enough of me, what about you, your majesty?" Sas'Ha looked towards the setting sun and one of her eyes soon turned to look at the guard, "Your eyepatch was figured out. Now your whereabouts are now known to her." The guard was silent before nodding, "I guess it was only a matter of time before the truth came out, wasn't it?" Sas'Ha nodded before looking at the sun again. "So what are you planning to do now?"
The guard looked forward before uttering the words, "I am planning to come clean to them next time I see them, your majesty." Sas'Ha knew what she meant, slowly turning to walk away, "Whenever the day comes, you will be ready to face it, Fireball." As the monarch disappeared, the guard looked at the setting sun before a tear ran down her muzzle, "Hildegaard, my ja'dra'guro."
Back in Ri'Co'Va, Tenchi had put the eyepatch on and was using it to give Hildegaard some cherished memories, and unbeknowst to them, they would be in for quite a surprise of their own as soon they had retreated to the bedroom and fallen asleep, under the moon's vigil. But at the same time, a certain guard was also sleeping and without them knowing, they weren't at the castle anymore.
Once waking up, the guard groaned and realized that she was in a familiar bed and the air smelled wonderful, even the food that had been cooked and was in the dining hall. Stretching before putting on her armor, the guard made her way to the dining hall, which gave everyone a shock as Tenchi stood up, "What is going on here?" The guard looked at Tenchi and remembered, "I remember you. You are Tenchi, the one I gave the eyepatch to." Tenchi gasped at it, but the loudest gasp came from beside her as Hildegaard stood up, and the guard was in complete shock when they both approached each other.
Reaching up to the helmet, the guard was soon stopped by Hildegaard, who slowly removed it and her heart began to pound hard in her chest, "Chaline? Is that really you?" Hildegaard was in complete shock before Chaline gave a soft smile, "Yes my ja'dra'guro. It is me." Janch stood up from her chair, "Miracles do happen. Chaline the Fireball is back." Peridot walked over to Tenchi, as they both watched together with the others how the former lovers shared a tight hug, before Izae suddenly came running and threw herself at Chaline, "Mother!!!" Chaline was in true shock at the words before looking at Izae, "Wait... our daughter is the goddess of love, sex, and fertility?!" Hildegaard began to smile, "Yes. Guess it was bound by destiny to happen."
Azula and Azura was quick to follow to greet Chaline, as they had never known she was a guard at Sas'Ha's castle. Tenchi did notice a note sticking out from the shoulder armor on Chaline and quickly pulled it loose and opened it up, "As by Gacealian custom, I hereby offer a token of peace between our realms, guard lieutenant Chaline Firestone, the Fireball." Tenchi looked at Hildegaard, Peridot, and the others, "This calls for a feast, but first..."
Tenchi turned to look at Chaline, "You have to make me an eyepatch like this one. It is very comfortable." Chaline began to laugh. "Sure, but if I gonna be here, can I at least get a room then?" Tenchi smirked, "What you talking about? You are on guard duty." The silence filled the room before they all began to laugh and took their seats again, with Chaline getting a seat next to Hildegaard, getting to once again be a part of the family she had to leave so many years ago, just as somewhere near the Catlha volcano, a letter landed on a certain Prime's bedside table, sealed with the wax sigil of the Frostclaws for a meeting to take place.
The End.
