Holy crap, talk about a huge surprise! I certainly had my hopes as the pieces came together but it was genuinely unbelievable to see you drawing Miyu all of a sudden! You've drawn Ilya pictures several times to great effect, but managing to have an extreme Ilya POV when she's so tiny and between Miyu's towering thighs is beyond incredible and hugely appreciated! What an awesome composition, you talked down the quality of it on-stream but I really do love it. Obviously it's not a perfect take and by requirement there are aspects like Miyu's funky hanging hair, but that's not out of doing anything wrong there really, her hairstyle is just like that. The sheer incline of Miyu's mahou costume climbing up and up to her surprised face is wonderful, amazing usage of the seam for perspective there! The line weight and opacity going down gradually as the line itself thins (while still showing the various folds upon the outfit) is so effective, damn! Miyu's costume is quite possibly my favorite magical girl design ever (Fate's from Nanoha Movie 2nd being its extremely close competitor) and this picture certainly makes great use of it! Can even see a peek of one of her side windows as her upper torso turns a bit in surprise, adorable!
The angle is so steep that even Miyu's modest chest becomes notable from the sheer neck craning, and her surprise is further shown despite the limited frame of view with her raised hand and open fingers! I do think her expression is a tad goofy, mostly the shaping of the mouth (I think it's probably best to try to lean more into comical shaping for surprised expressions) but the blush is adorable too! Only natural when little Ilya's down there! It really is incredible how Ilya herself can be magnified significantly up close to the camera and have such a low viewing angle herself, yet still feel so utterly small in the bigger picture and have Miyu's canyon-esque thighs easily overtake her existence.
The peeking over Kuro is the icing on the cake really, ahahaha! A fun extra tough with her own crazy hairstyle hanging down, and quite the predatory expression written all over her face! You can even see her oversized grin peeking out from over Miyu's leg, it's great!
I'm so happy that those commissions wound up inspiring you (Out of nowhere even!), I've been trying to get Miyu art done somehow for ages but it's so hard to get it done right. She's way harder to draw than one would expect and I'm never happy with how I render her myself, either. Miyu gets less attention than Ilya or Kuro on basically all fronts so having her as a huge favorite has always been tough. Thanks a million!
