In this scene, Eggman managed to kidnap Tails and decided to tie him to a laboratory table in the dark, unpleasant basement of his secret base where the doctor creates all his (more-or-less) genius inventions and evil plans. He caught Tails, who was apparently snooping around in Eggman's base all on his own and without Sonic. Now the fox boy finds himself in deep deep trouble: Tightly tied up with thick ropes around his chubby belly and his ankles, securely gagged with a big piece of duct tape and his mouth completely stuffed with fabric, so that screaming for help would be even more futile. If that's not already enough, Tails helpless bare feet are exposed and his tails are bound as well. Now Tails can only wait on the laboratory table for Eggman to return and see what evil experiment Eggman has planned for him. Will he turn the fox into a robot? Will he make Tails evil so that he would have to fight his friend Sonic? Or is even trying to tickle torture him? Who knows... but it's pretty obvious that Tails is screwed and in this situation incapable to help Sonic in the fight against Eggman.
I love this drawing so much :D It's such an exciting and distressing scenario and Tails simply looks super adorable and cute here. Tails has five toes here instead of the usual three or four, and for some reason I find that pretty appealing here as well! I have to thank KirbySquad101 so much for this one. Maybe he's an unwilling product tester/model for Eggman's baby family member? Dressing him up to see if the outfits work while taking pictures for later blackmail (Which will probably backfire a ton due to Tails being extremely adorable.).
