I'm really loving this series! I started reading back in Chapter 2 and been basically checking daily for updates, and I'm constantly impressed by the patience and restraint you have in building your world and characters. The little details and conversations are so integral in the emotional moments in the later parts of each segment, and I'm always happy to see the innovations you have in your storytelling. My favorite so far was the epistolary style for the 4th chapter (I think that's the one, I'm too lazy to go back and check!), as the change to the IRL meeting was so nice with those quiet moments of transit leading up to it. This new sketch style is very refreshing, tbh, as I really like the behind the scenes approach with these panels, especially with the mood indicators for the visual moods.
Overall, I hope making this series still is a joy to you, as it has been a constant joy to myself. These new characters are so refreshing and interesting, and I like this relaxed start to get us accustomed to the new microcosm of characters. It reminds me of the pleasant school days where adulthood and taxes seemed so distant.
