A few months have passed and to say things couldn't have gotten any different. We were all hiding away with Onn as he went about his daily life. He had zero questions of where we got the trophies or the gold bars. Part of me thinks he already knew because he could scan stuff. But hey, if the protogen keeps his mouth zipped then it's all good for us.
Kitsuno and I still find it odd that someone with robotics can stand being near a blast furnace. For someone who is basically part computer, you would think he would need to stay away from the heat. He told us he didn't mind and had some upgrades done to where his face won't overheat. Which is still bizarre.
Jasmine, she was doing okay herself. Took her a few days to really get use to being on her own like this. Can't blame her really. She gave up a prison of luxury to be free. Changes were bound to happen that she wouldn't be fully ready for, but she has been happier since she warmed up more.
She ended up losing her goth phase since... no makeup. That and we left all her clothes back at her old home. But I say the new look she has suits her. Normal looking clothes, like a plain t-shirt and comfy looking shorts. Her hairstyle changed much as well. In fear of being recognized by her hairstyle, she had it redone to a braided ponytail. All in all, Jasmine became another random girl out in the world.
Kitsuno and I would go to town here and there to grab some supplies. With the now steady income from the gold bars that we exchanged with Onn since he has an actual source to send it to because of his smithing hobby, we were able to afford some things. Well, more than when we had before when stealing things.
Our clothes being an example as we didn't have to go find someone who fits our size to steal from this time. Gotta say, this green v-neck shirt I found really fits well. The blue shorts I found for it work well too. Kit wore a blue collared shirt, which made me question her but she told me it felt good. I mean, collared shirts are nice, I just don't see why we need a collar to begin with. Her pink skirt matches well with the shirt though and I liked the look of it. Both of us chose the same black sneakers as it was comfy and sleak.
We were going about on our shopping route as we normally do. That was when I noticed a newspaper. In the middle of our shopping I saw a familiar man on the front page. And in bold letters.

If I was drinking something when I saw this, you can bet that I would be spitting it out. I grabbed a few copies and gave the paperboy four bucks as a tip. Before he could say thank you my sister and I had already vanished. Kitsuno and I hurried to a non populated area of the store and started looking through the paper.
A few months ago due to an incident involving Ashley Carterson, the household of Lawrence Finnegan I was held under investigation. Security was usually kept well at night but according to reports, the staff members that were suppose to be on patrol that night were intoxicated by the aged wine provided by Ashley from the wine cellar of the manor. Said wine was said to have contained traces of metazoin and did not take long for the effects to hit the staff members. Reports state that all available staff members from that night were congregated into the dining hall and most were found on the floor unconcious from the drugged drinks.
Said staff members do not remember much of what happened that night up until being scolded heavily by Sarah Finnegan in the morning. To which brought to some of them quitting on spot from the terrible effects of "a glass shard infused migraine". This became part of the downfall of the Finnegan family name as some interviews from the former employees that quit on the spot that day revealed how mistreated some of them were.
In the midst of the staff members were of various species, such as rabbits, mice, and a few cats. Many of which had a similar statement that they had more on their plate to deal with than intended from the family manor. Some of which admitted to even hiding should one of their tasks go unfinished to avoid the wrath of Sarah Finnegan. Future interviews are planned for more of the former employees who began to flee overtime as less and less people were willing to take up the jobs that were left open.
With that, we go on to the list of names within the main family that spirals the downfall.
Sarah Finnegan: Previously the prime minister of the International Pet Stadium, Sarah hereby been removed from her position and banned from future events until further notice. Sarah is undergoing the process of anger management due to the harsh treatment she had underwent with some of the former employees.
Steven Finnegan: Steven has unfortunately been hospitalized from sleep deprivation issues, which resulted in him falling off of the main stage and into the floor of the stadium with the mic stand falling on top of him. No other serious injuries have occurred aside from a concussion and a fractured rib. His recovery is in process and will be released in due time.
Laura Finnegan: Laura has been reported missing as of xxxxxx. It was revealed that the young lady had performed in sexual acts of bestiality with the pets that have been raised and owned by the family, to which in recent events with one of the pets named Dominic, who had gone missing the night of the Ashley Carterson, has resulted in an unexpected pregnancy with Laura. Her parents forbid this kind of child to have been made by their daughter and she mysteriously vanished along with the Saint Bernard known as Charles. Her whereabouts is unknown along with the dogs in question.
Another household pet in question is under custody due to a mysterious suitor breaking into the house and raping the chow chow known as Beatrice. The first place winner of the last pet show competition underwent in her ovulation cycle during the incident and is currently carrying a litter of pups. DNA results have been taken and some of the pups have shown fox like traits in their genetics. The chow chow is being escorted to a new home to raise her pups away from the city due to the rejection of said pups from Sarah.
James Finnegan: James was arrested after refusing to have some documents checked in case of possible inside info with Ashley. This resulted in assault against a police officer and attempting to run with said documents. After being withheld from the scene, said documents were merely a bunch of unsavory writings about canine culture. Both feral and non-feral. James has been issued with community service for the assault and is to be forbidden from going in depth of his works out in public with such enthusiasm.
Jasmine Finnegan: Jasmine went missing during the Ashley Carterson incident. Ashley admits to fighting with the young girl before being knocked unconcious. Her whereabouts are unfortunately unknown.
Anna Finnegan: Anna was originally to be taken into a foster home, but this proved difficult due to her harsh, cold, and judgmental attitude towards anyone else besides her sister Belle Finnegan. Psychological tests show that she has imprinted heavily on her parents terrible behavior. She is currently going through counseling to help better her view towards others.
Belle Finnegan: Belle follows a similar suit as Anna as she similar results from her tests. There are few instances however that she is prone to violence when agitated for too long, or that she and her sister do not get what they want. Belle is attending the same counseling as her sister and is also attending anger management classes.
Charlie Finnegan: Charlie was placed in protective child care and removed from custody from Lawrence I and Sarah Finnegan. The young boy admitted he was scared of his parents after a week of separation and was afraid to see his dad. This is likely due to unsightly punishments that were from behind closed doors. Charlie has also been diagnosed with signs of ADHD due to some being concerned of his hyper attitude and attention span when staying in a protective care. Charlie is currently living happily with a new family that offered to take him in to help give him a better childhood.
Lawrence Finnegan II: Lawrence II, after witnessing the harsh betrayal from Ashley towards his family, has filed for divorce and demanded that Ashley returned everything she has taken as compensation. The two are currently under trial for repossession.
Lawrence I: The long term champion Lawrence I, has hereby been removed from the world tournaments and his golfing career is over. This is due to a few documents that were hidden in the safe room in the library that held incriminating evidence of the former renowned champion falling short on his past few tournaments. Much to which shows that he went into bribery to other players to let him win, much to the other option. Blackmail. Lawrence is no longer allowed to travel to said tournaments after the reveal should he attempt displaying negative reactions to other players, let alone his son Lawrence II in trying to press him into being the new champion.
Ashley Carterson: Ashley was arrested the day of the incident and is awaiting trials against both her former husband and father in law. The woman has been asked several questions, some including the whereabouts of Jasmine, but to no avail does she give a straight answer. Ashley is possibly seeing 50 years in prison for mass theft.
One of the other pets have been taken into custody, but odds are the feline in question may reside in special confinement due to an illegal laser turret on standby in her room. Many questions have been asked of Lawrence and other family members and none knew about the weapon. The laser turret has been deactivated and disassembled and is taken into custody by the police for further studies of its origin. The persian cat is under heavy watch due to her knowledge on the weapon.
It is unknown for how long the inside jobs have been occurring, but with the end of the Finnegan household, rest assured this will be the last from a formerly rich family.
A search is still out in the open for the locations of Jasmine and Laura Finnegan. Rewards will be discussed in full should either girls be found.
I stared in shock for what has happend. "Holy shit..." Kitsuno rereads some of the paper and looks around us to see if anyone was listening. "I didn't think we would do this much damage." I looked over anything else that I could have missed, but no. What we read was what we read. "Should we show this to her?"
"She's going to find out sooner or later. Best we do it now." I nod and we fold the newspapers to put in one of the bags we had stuff in. "Let's hurry and get the rest of the stuff and hurry home." And with that, we continued on with our shopping. Both of us had the same thoughts going on in our heads, and that was how we were to explain this to Jasmine.
