~ The dragon boy followed the three fox boys from the shadows around for a while before they met up with two other foxes, also dressed as different coloured Links, the one dressed as Vaati made an eerie chuckle as he motioned the Links to follow him, the Vaati one was acting strange for a while now as he kept going off and coming back rather quickly before his friends could notice, he was fast as it was hard to keep an eye on him as he moved but he did promise the others a 'surprise' which the dragon boy was eager to find out given the Vaati boy's mischievous behaviour, he continued to follow them until they made it to a small clearing in the park where the Links made a shocking discovery. "So it was you stealing all of our candy!" the Red Link one shouted as he had an angry growl directed at the one boy standing up on the rod towering over a mountain of candy, "well I did say I was the villain in all this so yes why wouldn't I steal them" the one dressed as Vaati countered in a coy voice as he made a cheeky smile. "Come on Red!" the one dressed as Green Link said in what sounded more like a female tone, she was also slightly taller then the other four, perhaps she was older, "he is Vaati after all, what did you expect?" "So this was the fun you were mentioning earlier" the Red Link one said as his demeanor changed as a devious smile crossed his face, he readied the bow he was carrying, the dragon boy tensed up for a moment as it didn't look fake, he was also the only one carrying a different weapon then the rest "alright then, you are going down!" "Now you are getting it!" the one dressed as Blue Link said as he held is sword in two hands, "yes! Lets take the dark sorcerer down!" the one dressed as Purple Link cut in as he too readied his sword and shield hand. "Ha ha ha! Let's see if you can!" the one dressed as Vaati called out as he grabbed hands full of candy, lifting them up into the air and sprinkling them down. "Four against one, I think the odds are in our favor" the Blue Link one countered back, "yes, especially when all it takes is one good shot!" the Red Link one cut in as he fired an arrow, the Vaati one brought up his cape before swiftly countering the arrow away as it ricocheted towards the dragon boy as he ducked for cover, only for the arrow to fall flat without much of an impact. "The arrows are plastic?" the dragon boy thought, "The bow looks so real but the ammunition is fake" he continued thinking as he caught on, it was a game, a very elaborate one though as looked over himself and his costume it was one he could possibly join in on, it was just a question of how, should he help the Links in their fight? Well he was dressed as shadow Link so he knew who's side he should be on.
"It will take more then that to take down a master sorcerer" the Vaati one said with a laugh, "one, two, three or four, you all combined are no match for me, I haven't even begun to use my magic" the Vaasit one shouted out as the dragon boy poked himself from behind the bushes, he was going to rush in but the next thing he saw kind of made him stand still in amazement. An azure hue began glowing from the Vaati one's hands as candy started swirling around the palm of on of them, then flowing up to the boy's extended hand following the glowing hue, the dragon boy couldn't really fully understand what was going on but he could swear at times he could see some sparks of what looked like lightning mixed in amongst the candy but his eyes couldn't full make it all out. The other kinds though seamed to fully see what was going on as they had a different aura about them, one that was maybe one in tune with the nature's flow as they all got excited, "ha, well you may of been able to deflect that one, but the next won't miss" the Red Link one said in an almost unimpressed tone as he readied another arrow, "keep your guard up, this still won't be easy" the Blue Link one retorted as he braced himself while gritting his teeth, "come on now, we can all do this, we are the heroes of legend after all" the Purple Link one cried out raising his sword confidently. "Yes! All of us together now, when we fight as one, we are unstoppable!" the Green Link one rallied as all the Links took offensive positions, "try all you want, only failure awaits you!" the Vaati one countered with boisterous laughter as the Links went in for the attack. Then suddenly from the shadows the the dragon boy dressed as shadow Link appeared, standing in front of the rock the Vaati one was standing upon, as the other Links took a step back, the dragon boy glanced back at Vaati, who looked a bit confused before grinning back in excitement. "Ok I can roll with this" the Vaati one said quietly before continuing his boisterous laughter, "if you want to get to me, first you must conquer yourself!" the Vaati one cried as three of the four Links closed in on the dragon boy as the fourth realigned his arrow. "Come on, he is nothing but a shadow" the Green Link one said as their swords clashed, the dragon boy was careful to avoid the other two boys attacks as the Green one kept pressing, she was good but the dragon boy was able to mirror her moves fairly well. The fight dragged on for a few minutes as the four Links looked impressed at what the dragon boy could do, even the Vaati one looked down with amazement, constant words of encouragement ringing out but the dragon boy couldn't help but feel something was off, he was able to keep the three Links with swords at bay but the fourth one, the one with the bow didn't seam to be doming anything, just standing there... wait where was he?
The dragon boy panicked for a second as the Red Link boy caught his eye standing behind him, "I have you now!" he called out as the dragon boy saw the arrow leave the Red Link one's bowstring, he couldn't dodge it, he would have to admit defeat. But the arrow swerved up suddenly, striking the Vaati boy straight in the chest as it bounced off him, he let out a loud cry as the azure hue faded from his hands and the candy fell to the ground, "told ya the next one wouldn't miss! Maybe you should of kept your attention on instead of your underling" the Red Link one said in a snarky voice as the Vaati one 'fell' off the rock and into the candy buckets, making the candy splash everywhere. The Links turned their attention to the shadow Link dragon boy who just dropped his sword and laid back on the ground of candy, like he was fading away from the defeat of his master, "oh no I have been slain, how could you all have defeated me.... blek" the Vaati one cried out as he was convulsing dramatically on the ground before coming to a complete stop, keeping his eyes wide open and tongue out as the others kind of just staired at him, "too much?" "No Ion that was fairly good" the Green Link one said, "but yes maybe a little bit overdramatic" she continued as she helped the boy dressed as Vaati back up to his feet. The dragon boy got up as well and started to walk away, "hey!" one of the boys shouted as the one dressed as Vaati ran over to him, "can't just leave while we are having a good time without even telling us your name, I am Ion by the way" the Vaati one said with a smile while holding his hand out. The dragon boy looked at Ion and then to his hand, "come on, arn't you going to take it?" Ion asked confused as he pulled his hand away, "sorr... sorry I don't understand, I didn't mean to cause any trouble" the dragon boy said as the other Links looked at him confused as they didn't understand a word the dragon boy said though Ion made a small smile, "it is ok, you did nothing wrong, it was fun!" Ion said as the dragon boy was take aback a bit, this fox boy could speak his language, he understood the dragon's speak, who was he? "Maybe I should start over, I am Ion by the way, over there, the red one is Flint, the blue one is Zephyr, the green one is my cousin Meeka and the purple my cousin Matias, might I ask your name?" Ion asked placing his hand back out. The dragon boy looked back to Ion's hand and finally grasped it, "Brygaht" the dragon boy said, "well Brygaht, do you want to come with us? There is still a bit of the night left" Ion asked. "Thanks but no... I... I should be going..." Brygaht answered as he let go of Ion's hand and started to turn away, "you sure?" Ion asked once more, "to me it feels like you continue to hang out, I promise it will be fun" Ion said with a cheeky smile, holding his hand out once more, Brygaht thought about it for a moment before the two boy's hands clasped once more. ~
