Three words: A crop top. (Took me a bit of Wikipedia research to find out what she's actually wearing as I started preparing this commentary around 11:10 p.m. on October 28. Sorry, yours truly is not so well-versed in fashion/clothing as he is in pop culture, wiki basics, geography/cartography, Shimajiro, and Bluey.) And now...

Meet Shannon Boudica Guillart, the fox lady who made her début as an adoptable by one "Purespite333" on Reddit/

Mastervoidvox on DeviantART back in June (formerly "vonnyface"). Her design is so cool and radical--hence the original artist's nickname of "Cute Skater Girl" back then--that I incorporated her into the universe of my forthcoming Unspooled books. Another Redditor, "Various_Mouse_9867", suggested that new first name in a chat log on October 6; I took care of the rest thanks to WP's new pages patrol (NPP) feed (or more specifically, their current backlog drive). (Disclosure: I was an NPP 10/23 participant.)

As for the surname? I'll go ahead myself with "Boudica", as suggested by WP's draft page on the upcoming British adventure epic Boudica: The Queen of War. (Might as well rush in a character sheet for her by daylight while we're at it.)

Even better: Let's call her Shannon Boudica Guillart. (H/T another WP newcomer, Ricky Guillart [Hispanic-American actor and model]. I was about to make Guillart her middle name, but changed my mind at the very last minute while typing this announcement out.)

To reiterate her backstory from the original Miraheze upload (sorry, in-house shortener used as IB hates the parentheses in the original page title):

The Skater Girl loves loving a lot, but freaks out at the idea of having puppies. That's why she invests in the in-universe "Lightning" brand for her potential mates every once in a while;[1] helps that she once starred in a series of their commercials. (Title image song performed by Mortimer of Jamaica, who is not tracked by WP yet; this was a selection of Adanson's post-re.BUILD fling at Santa Rosa Beach in the Panhandle back in February 2020. As their slogan goes: "Fast...cheap...puts you in control!") Being a Lightning spokesperson is a blessing and a curse: You get enough salary to last you two whole years--the company is backed by a native Cayman-based-turned-multinational firm--but once some in your circles find out, they turn their backs on you and seldom ever speak to you again. (Ostracism at its finest.)

[1] For the responsible adults reading this: Guess what type of prevention methods fellow competitors Trojan and Durex are?

Not to mention:

• she's one and a quarter feet taller than Danny;
• hails from the vicinity of Panama City (where Kino Lorber's ad hoc KLPC satellite unit, they of the Reflections visual albums, will have been once based--helps she saw their official videos at Archive.org and managed to pay their facility a visit);
• has a knack for 2000s-era Avril Lavigne (get the nickname?);
• and bears Sammarinese ancestry, as stated in my most recent Miraheze FTA; partaking in something her grandparents' homeland calls "bustrèng" every holiday season is the only reminder of her heritage. (Thanks, once again, to NPP.)

Sammarinese? O.K., I'll give her an extra middle name to reflect this--Chiesanuova, where said grandparents hailed from--thus making her official name Shannon Boudica Chiesanuova Guillart. (Thanks, FamilySearch!)

Even better: She is to the Dixwell universe design-wise what Molly MacDonald the rabbit is to long-storied PBS/Cookie Jar/Marc Brown institution Arthur; special shout-out to

of Chile. (Now that I've actually thought about it [at 6:36 on the morning of this upload]...)

I didn't reach out to this next guest back on the evening of August 5 (post-API standoff on RDT)--she reached out to me on a whim. Thank goodness she specialises in furry art (SFW only), or else I would've dismissed the invite request as unsolicited. (Did she notice my "Routhwick" handle in previous r/furry posts and the like? Might have been why, but I can't be 100% certain.) My initial bid was $15; she suggested $50. As such, I went with installments, furniture/automobile style: Paid $25 the following day, and the other half (plus an extra five bucks--as a tip?) on October 2. (The latter held up due to the bad cheque that had temporarily haunted my C1 reserves in late September; again, see FTA for details.)

Because what I received on RDT chat suffered from JPEG artifacts and smudges (beats me how; a shortcoming of their highly rightfully lambasted mobile app?), I had to resort to e-mail to get our rendezvous done with. The same unfortunately can't be said of the sketch studies from September 15, which retain them on IB and Patreon. (From here, please send feedback to their devs--or better yet, petition for Spez and co. to resign in favour of better staff.)

Knightz has a Halloween surprise for me on the horizon--but at press time, I'm on a cash crunch, and October 31st is quickly approaching, so I'm afraid this stint is on the backburner until further notice. (Saving my money for "luvo_pop" and Claudine, cheerleader bunny Lisa's cousin; Lisa herself will be back in the game before you know it.)

Next up, later today (or perhaps tomorrow), Shannon's silent-loving boyfriend; coming soon on FA/IB, an intimate piece or two featuring the canine couple (as part of our next round of "Dixwell After Dark"; get your keyword blockers on IB ready because of a certain something in this season's Marion lewd). And be there as I unveil Alfred the raccoon's final design (after a five-year delay, no thanks to last night's Linda portrait). Once again, folks, take care!

P.S. Boudica just came out ("same day as theatres" in the States) on the very weekend I've sent this out--and the reviews so far are not looking promising.
