I was 17 and hanging out with this 8 year old boy. He was climbing this ladder up my house and acting obviously scared the whole way up. I was even more scared so I didn't even climb the ladder. I remember saying he was pretending to be scared because I didn't believe anyone would be willing to actually look scared so I thought it had to be a joke.
