In a way, this is a redo of an older picture of mine. One that looks better, imo.
Gabby rose from her bed with a stretch and a yawn, and after quickly making it, she strode over to the large table housing what most would think is a model city. She gently rested her hands on the edge of the table, and peered over a little bit, checking in on everyone. Those that could afford to look up to her offered her friendly gestures, like thumbs-up or waves. It had been a week since she re-purposed a table to house the new addition to her bedroom, and ever since then she's been trying to make living conditions for her new roommates bearable. A couple batteries and some careful wiring fixed the electricity problem, she used small pipes to attach their water and sewage systems to her sink in the nearby bathroom, and garbage she scoops out of a landfill and into her own trash can. While it's not ideal, she's trying to make their lives better until something can be done.
