The Rem in her natural habitat, utilizing her camouflague to prey on unsuspecting buildings! I guess it really has been a while since you drew an explanation picture like this, hahah. I remember the older ones from waaaaaay back in the Livestream days and all. It's a clever design! Now, as for the treads and the foot thing, THAT is something you've never drawn direct attention to and I never realized it, but it's kind of obvious once you look closer honestly, especially with the toe thing.

Also including the glorious diagram where we see just how extended Tilda's platforms have become and I'm all there for it.

Thankfully Tilda's tread design is extremely self-explanatory, I think it's cute and concise.

Haha, I can't believe people hadn't caught on about Rem's shoe pattern. I remember the original drawing of Rem's shoe among the buildings . . . . guess I've known you a long time!
I addition of the Matilda shoe lore was pretty silly. I admit I knew nothing about that!

Now is it intentional that the soles have a hoof-esque shape and pattern to them?

the shape is intentional, but it's more like a tabi sock than a hoof.  basically it's the dividing line between the big toe and the rest of the toes, which is one of the steps often involved in drawing feet.
