Hello, and welcome to my devblog about Sanguine Dream's 0.20 update!
Additions for this update include:
1. Encounter art for Lancet, Kobolds, and Rubim along with smaller UI adjustments. 2.Lancet dialogue art 3. 8 new scenes involving Lancet which can be found by visiting the Alchemist Landmark 4.Coded in Running away during combat. 5.Coded in item usage in combat. (Small health potions and Weak Poison are all that's there for now, but I plan on adding more in the future)
6.Small bugfixes
Content planned for future updates include:
Setting up persistant damage to the player after combat encounters, making it necessary to rest to restore health, and allowing for certain scenes that involve dreaming to trigger which can help progress the main story, as well as make it easier to lose combat from simply being worn down by encounters over time. 1.Adding additional options after selecting a landmark, so that main story content and other services can intersect without getting in each other's way.
2.Set up a scene replay system which allows the player to experience scenes that they've already seen again.
3.Add an aditional combat encounter with the Somnium Knights, including encounter art and portrait art 4.Add combat art for the Alikhan Monster, as well as portrait art for Alikhan 5.portrait art for the Blacksmith 6.Make small adjustments to Rubim's story content. 7.Polish up main story content and ensure it's consistent with side content.
The content for the castle is slowly being finished up, and it's freeing up time for me to look at the next zone after the castle, which will be the village, or hamlet.
I normally would share images of the new content, but there's so much that I think it would be best for you to play through the game and experience it for yourself.
