Day 18.

So, I think its no surprise that a lot of "Rockers", or at least the minority got that private freedom to draw however they want to their fave comfort characters.

But what if there is a sense of freedom to express the subtle dark themes in cute art? I remember growing up with the bloom of Vocaloid culture. The cutest pop-heavy sounding songs tend to be the most depressing from the lyrics they wrote. As a weirdo that do appreciate the ups and downs of "modern art" (AKA contemporary art) and witness the reactions of viewers, I want to tap the potential land mines again without fear.

Imagine your own life, you are an everyday low income 'social worker'. What if this felt the same sense to the grim side of the circus culture? Fiction or reality, there's at least a few downs with the many ups you will feel and see. That is what I hope to achieve when I did this.

Otherwise, I'll leave your own interpretation to you, as long you are not here to attack others or to the artist (me).

I was also taken a huge inspiration from "The Purge March" song from the Milgram music/sound drama series. (Where I got the inspiration for the yami-kawaii storytelling come from...?)

Bonus: Some parts of this piece is foil/holographic! 😄

P.S. If anyone is worried, I am fine. Also, if you are in a dark place right now, I want to let you know that are you a loving person, capable of doing something even so small. There are professional hotlines exist to voice your inner pain. Remember that you are not alone in this world. I'm alive now because I found my final purpose with my little pieces of art.
