Ladies and germs, the Jungle's newest protectors...
"Though he wasn't her first choice, Lala found Plagg to be good company as somebody who shared her sort of attitude. It helped that he had been friends with her father, Vermillion, as his Bearer and often told her embarrassing tales about him.
Though Mowgli couldn't see Plagg, he could certain tell that Lala was becoming more of a pain in the tailbone. His "Fang" was often a point of derision since she saw it as a pathetic crutch the man-cub needed to even remotely catch up. She was keen to "check up" on her rival during his practice with a rather shrill laugh in tow.
Tikki could often see this getting under her Bearer's skill and helped Mowgli by reminding him that it's never wrong to need help. Even so, a few of the man-cub's throws would come awfully close to Lala's big mouth. Not that it was hard with the way she laugh oh so "nobly."
Lala... is basically the Chloe to Mowgli's Marinette in the narrative role of Adrien. Though I often feel that she's more akin to an Asuka to Mowgli's Shinji if the latter had more of a backbone from the start.
