Since Simone discovered that she can have a bellymouth, she takes the opportunity to eat much more than normal, even eating civilians, to satisfy her insatiable hunger, probably because of her belly which demands more.
As a result, Simone seems to have grown a lot, becoming a giant, by dint of eating more, catching civilians in her hands, to the pleasure of her stomach, but of course, of herself.
