I started drawing these around a year ago and have only just come back to finish them off x3;
After playing a lot of Tokyo Olympics, I decided to sketch out some cute scenarios with Sonic and Shadow, if they were in a team for certain events!
The first one is surfing; Sonic is nervous about doing this event for the first time, as he's afraid of drowning. Shadow stays by his side and reassures him that he'll be around to help out, if anything bad happens.
For the second event, Sonic and Shadow are, unfortunately, pitted against each other for the karate event! They give it all they've got, but Shadow ends up hurting Sonic by accident, and quickly makes sure to ask if he's okay.
Fortunately, for the next event, Shadow is tasked with taking care of both his and Sonic's horses, and so, isn't competing against him. He makes sure that Sonic's horse, Bolt, is ready to race and leads him out to the srtarting line.
And for the final event, Sonic and Shadow are teamed up in order to get a high score on rock climbing. Working together, they manage to rack up a high score and recieve many cheers from the audience. Sonic cheers in response for the efforts of both himself and Shadow, but he soon receives a very special reward from Shadow, in the form of a kiss on the muzzle, and it turns out to be his best reward of the day!
