I'm a bit of a homebody myself, but I do like to just pack up a day bag and go for long hikes and explorations. I'm lucky to be up here: I have a major river to walk along, a creek, forest belts, farmer fields, and grasslands around my city. Plus a town/city with old buildings and rail bridges/structures to explore. If I lived where you were, I'm sure I'd do the same, following dry gulches, roaming dirt roads and any Park land I could, check out any older homesteads and buildings, just for a little bit of immersion into nature, rustic lifestyle, and a bit of active isolation from most other people. Heck, if I lived down there, I coulda visited your shoppe Furlips!
