The comments made me think of sketches by Monty Python's Flying Circus. A British Comedy show featuring Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin. Many of their routines were "a bit silly and perverted minded" so consider it a compliment! :D
