In another universe, Elias Acorn found a different love: baseball. He started playing field ball with the neighbors. While very good at bat, his true skill is as a pitcher, striking out pretty much everyone he was up against.
His skill and passion wouldn't go unrecognized, and after he handed the crown to his sister, Elias went onto participate professionally. He became famous not only for his skill, but his appearance. On the field, it's hard not to notice his hair--the usually famous crimson red turned a bright salmon pink--but especially his lack of footwear.
Despite the risks, Elias got in touch with a manager who paid waiver fees so he can continue to play barefoot just like when on the farm fields. So far he's been doing fine for years and only has a minor sprain to his record otherwise.
