Basically, this is straight up the actual early Nikki X Gertrude lore from near the start of the ironclaw campaign they were both in. I know what was going on and generally being discussed at the time, but not the full extent of the actual conversation... just that a particular phrase was dropped at complete random and in a completely disregardable fashion that most just let go without question. Meanwhile... Nikki immediately began having a mini-crisis of realization. XD
