Lunlad was my Wonderland, the first world i ever concieved and started to build from when i was single digits years old. Ever since i discovered i could draw things that looked like things, I had aspired to draw comics, but the first goal to achieving that was to be able to draw a single character the same way twice/consistantly. Neeko, the green feline like being in the back, was the first original character I ever managed to do so without the assistance of tracing.
Saying that, Lunlad was already fully set in my brain for quite some time, filled with stories and legends with no outlet. It wouldnt be till about 10 years ago would I come up with an actual story to maybe turn it into an actual comic, revolving around some millenial sap who winds up isekai'd into this chaotic world of magic, furries and a little buddy of their own to protect them, and having to go on an adventure of their own in a world many of us, including themselves, dreamed of as a kid.

It was based on stuff like Digimon and Monster Rancher. It's called a Mixmon (cause they'd be able to do a steven universe fusion type mechanic) and they'd grow alongside their partner, matching their needs and desires in a partner! Inkblott here (The one being held by the human here) has skin like canvas, and can be drawn on, because Mac (the human) is an Artist. Eventually he grows up to be an inkmancer that can manipulate reality with his ink, Okami style :D
