His team is considered a huge challenge, and is recommended to be fought only by Trainers who have beaten seven other gyms. He's not as popular as Juan or Wallace, but he's slowly gaining prevalance. He has the ability to Mega Evolve his Metagross, causing some to wonder if he learned from Steven.
