+ bonus outtakes

this was a major project of mine, made over the course of several months back in late 2010/early 2011. in some ways, it was inspired by some of Seo Tatsuya's work from back then. of course, it hurts to look at it now with how bad the art is, but i had a few goals in mind with it:
- do something about the lack of environmental interaction/destruction in multi-page size content of that era
- practice drawing humans (during a time where i rarely did so)
- do the entire thing without dialogue because i wanted the pictures to speak for themselves
- accept donations in return for posting pages, so i could make some money on the side

i didn't really plan this one out beyond the first dozen or so pages; i kinda started making it up as i went after that.  it took a while to figure out how much of a mistake that was, and to try and come up with /some/ kind of ending c.c

a little later on i came up with a series of silly production blooper jokes and made some comic pages for those, too.

I remember going crazy with every page of this. It was absolutely a milestone as your art improved. Naturally, I enjoyed just how destructive-themed it was. So many clever ways to break stuff during the conflict, from the streets, to the bridge, to even ships. Very fun!
