*A new morning came to the Adventure Bay area as some of the pups were up early.*

Balloona X: Man... what a rest. *She yawned, stretching a bit before exiting her pup house, looking out over the water.* I’ll meet up with you soon drone buddy... if it'll be possible, that is. For now, I better see the other pups. *She walked up to the main crew, which had Chase, Zuma, and Rocky awake thus far.* Morning every pup.

Zuma: Not everyone’s awake yet dude.

Balloona X: Oh, sorry.

Chase: I mainly got up early to do my routine right now, and especially to see if there's been any weird drones around that aren't mine.

Balloona X: Really Chase...

Chase: I heard a buzzing the past few days, and my hunch is pointing towards a drone.

Rocky: Give it a rest man, it was maybe just an insect or something.

Balloona X: Besides, just because I kept a secret about my secret little drone friend, that doesn't mean you have to act like this.

Chase: I'm a police pup, it's my job to worry. For all we know, it could be a spy or something.

Balloona X: I assure you... this guy is fine.

Chase: I already said I'd be one of the few going with you when you meet this guy though.

Balloona X: Ok, ok... we'll work on that later. Right now, we should check out the rooms in better depth.

Rocky: Can't yet, we're having a little electrical work done by a new guy Ryder found.

Balloona X: Oh, ok then.

Zuma: Yep, so we're essentially taking a bit of a break for right now.

Balloona X: Alright then.

Rocky: We should get the others up for breakfast... Rubble hates missing out on it.

*As the four awake pups went off to wake the other three up, a van pulled up the driveway.*

Chase: I think that new guy is here now.

Zuma: The electrical sign on the side of the van may be the big giveaway.

Chase: Just pointing it out.

Balloona X: Let's go meet this guy.

Zuma: I'll go wake the others up, you go meet him.

Chase: Fair enough. Let's go you two.

Balloona X: Ok then.

*As the lab went off to wake up there other three sleepers, the other three went over to the van that arrived. Out of the van stepped a male figure with brown hair that had yellow highlights, clad in a gray jumpsuit.*

???: Not a hard place to find, but better get to work. *He can see three pups running up to him.* Oh boy...

Balloona X: Hello there! Are you that electrician that's supposed to come here to fix some stuff up?

Joseph: Why yes I am, little but big bloated pup dudette. Name's Joseph Boltara.

Rocky: Odd last name...

Joseph: Yea, I know.

Chase: Just when we thought Zuma had the traits for the cool guy... Anyway I'm Chase, this is Rocky and Balloona X.

Joseph: Well, pleasure to meet you all... though I can see why you're called Balloona. You look like you swallowed an exercise ball in some way.

Balloona X: Hehehehe maybe...

Rocky: Everyone says that about her.

Joseph: Well, if you pups don't mind, I've got some work to do. *The pups moved out of the way, so he can get by.* Question though... where's your fuse box?

Balloona X: You could ask Ryder about it.

Joseph: That... I will consider, but I should know where it is.

Rocky: Whatever you say... follow me, I'll take you to the fuse box.

Joseph: Alright bro, let's go. *He followed Rocky to where the fuse box was at.* Is it somewhere around back or down below in that garage or where exactly, little dude?

Rocky: It's in the garage down here.

Joseph: Ok then. *After the door rose up, Rocky led the electrician inside, pointing to the box on the wall.*

Rocky: That should be it right there.

Joseph: Thanks little dude.

Rocky: No problem. I'll let you do your thing, give me a holler if you need me.

Joseph: Got it. *When Rocky left, Joseph opened the box, looking through it.* Ok, let's see here... *He looked over the new blueprints that were corresponding with the updates to the Lookout's electrical routing.* Everything should be operational, but looks like I may need to add a second box in case. *He shut off the power first for very obvious reasons regarding safety.* Power off, check... *As he looked through his toolbox, Rocky met back up with the other three.*

Balloona X: He find it okay?

Rocky: Yep, he should be working on it now.

Balloona X: I hope he will be ok on fixing up the electricity.

Zuma: He should be fine dude.

Balloona X: Ok then.

Rocky: You have any lucky waking the others up?

Zuma: Skye's up... Rubble and Marshall... good luck. Rubble isn't waking up till breakfast is out, and Marshall... well, let's say he's doing a bit of sleepwalking again, though thankfully, he got stuck in the tire swing.

Balloona X: Oh Marshall, getting himself stuck on everything.

Chase: Well, at least he won't be going anywhere for a little while... till we free him, that is.

Rocky: Got that right.

Chase: Well, let's try to get them as we can.

Rocky: Alright.

Skye: Hey guys, talking about the other two sleepyheads and waking them up?

Balloona X: Yes.

Skye: Got it. Any particular splitting up for who wakes up who?

Balloona X: I'll get Marshall.

Zuma: I can help ya out dude.

Balloona X: Alright.

Chase: Let's go then.

Balloona X: Alright then. *As the two pairs split up, with the cockapoo and lab going in one direction while the other three went the other, Joseph finished getting the new box set up and looked over the wires and fuses.*

Joseph: Alright... so that should be good for the new rooms, now I have to get the last few touches set up. *He shut the new panel, switching the power back on for both boxes and grabbed his tools.* There we go, should work now. I better go check it just in case. *He left the garage, heading back up to the Lookout. Unknown to him, two of the wires in the new box were crossed in the wrong manner, creating a weird surge.* Ok then, let's check on the lights. *When he went to the door, instead of them sliding open, they remained closed as he bumped into the glass.*

Rocky: Now I know what some birds go through. You ok, Joseph?

Joseph: Uh, yeah. Ain't these doors automatic when someone gets close?

Rocky: Yes, but why didn't it open this time?

Joseph: System rebooting perhaps?

Rocky: Happens at points...

Joseph: I don't know, I thought I got it all right.

Rocky: Some systems take a bit to reboot after powering back up.

Joseph: Oh right. *While the others looked on, Balloona X saw something out of the corner of her eye.*

Balloona X: Huh? *It looked like some sort of weird metallic ball, one she recognized from the other day.* Uh one sec, I'll be right back...

Chase: Don’t take too long.

Balloona X: I won't.

Chase: Making sure.

Balloona X: I won’t be, relax. *She went over to the spot. The metallic ball is at Balloona X's doghouse as she followed it.*

???: Glad to see you again, though not like... this. Was kind of hoping for more in-person meeting, Loona.

Balloona X: Loona? You know my name is Balloona X.

???: Nicknames... sort of easy to say in some sort of way.

Balloona X: Fair.

???: Anyway... enjoy the new digs yet?

Balloona X: Well yes, but I think we might have a problem with the electricity.

???: Hmm... I see. I need to get inside to analyze the problem, but it's not easy without being spotted. You may want to call Ryder about it honestly to try to get the others inside.

Balloona X: Good idea.

???: Good luck with it, I'm going to jostle for position, but if my hunch is right... if power's not working right, they'll have to use Marshall's ladder to get up top again.

Balloona X: Alright, good luck little buddy. *As the drone in its ball mode rolled off, Balloona X's tag lit up.* Hey Ryder, we may have a small problem right now.

Ryder: *through tag* What kind of small problem?

Balloona X: Have you noticed any... electrical gremlins?

Ryder: Well, everything seems to be operating in reverse right now or not at all... yeah.

Balloona X: Is it going to be possible to get up there then to figure it out?

Ryder: Of course it is. No glitch is too big, no pup is too small!

Balloona X: But I suggest use Marshall's ladder, just in case.

Ryder: Was going to suggest that. See you guys in a minute. *He pulled his pad open, pressing the button and causing all of the pup's tags to light up.* Paw Patrol, to the Lookout!

All pups: Ryder needs us! *All of the pups managed to meet up at the door, except for Marshall who was still stuck in the tire swing. After a big swing forward and back though, he popped out and rolled right into the others like a bowling ball.*

Marshall: Is it time for breakfast already?

Balloona X: Nope, mission time. Come on, every pup!

Rocky: How though? The door won’t open correctly.

Balloona X: Who said anything about going in through the door? Marshall, we need your ladder.

Marshall: On it. *He went over to his puphouse as it transformed into its firetruck mode. barks* Ladder! *The ladder proceeded to extend up, reaching the balcony of the Lookout.*

Chase: Well, that works... we'll have to ride the elevator going down if we want to get our gear though.

Rocky: Seems logical... let's go. *The pups started to climb up the ladder to the balcony of the Lookout, eventually making it to the top, lining up without their gear.*

Chase: Paw Patrol... almost ready for action, Ryder sir!

Ryder: Well pups, you could obviously guess our little situation here today... *When he pressed his pad to lower the screen, the image shown was either upside down, the right way up with black and white imaging, or both at once.*

Balloona X: Yikes, that is one messed up screen.

Ryder: It's less our screen... and more the entirety of our power seems to have some glitches in the system. Seems like our electrician in Joseph could've messed something up while installing that new box. We have to figure out what's gone wrong with it and fix the problem.

Balloona X: Well maybe if I could find my little drone friend, maybe he could help us on this problem... since he did help us on rebuilding the Lookout, he could help us and Joseph?

Chase: If you can find him that is...

Ryder: Alright, let's see... Rocky, I'll need you and your tools to try to figure out the problem while Balloona X tries to find that drone.

Balloona X: Time to bounce into action!

Rocky: Green means go!

Ryder: Chase... see if you can assist Balloona X with finding that drone.

Chase: Chase is on the case!

Ryder: Alright, Paw Patrol is on a roll!

*While Ryder went down the pole to the lower section, the three selected pups entered the elevator, managing to get it going down after having problems with the door and such, gearing up, arriving back up top, and prepping to slide down. Balloona X rolled down the slide first. At the bottom, she adjusted herself.*

Balloona X: We don't need our vehicles this time, though... should maybe give the two a decent place to land. *barks* Crash Pad! *Her pup pack popped open and inflated a big crash pad on her back. The two boys came sliding down, first the police pup, then the recycler, as they both bounced off her crash pad and landed nearby.*

Rocky: Handy use for that thing, didn't know it was dual purpose too.

Balloona X: I asked Ryder to modify it a bit.

Rocky: Makes sense to why it was so weird for me to see...

Balloona X: Anyway, time to get to work.

Rocky: Right. Good luck with finding your... drone friend. *He proceeded to make his way down to the garage, leaving the two alone.*

Chase: You're sure he's going to respond?

Balloona X: He was here, why do you think I said "I'll be right back" for a moment?

Chase: It's really suspicious though with you running off to meet this... weird drone. What even should we expect? Something like my old spy drone or what exactly?

???: Y'know, I take an offense to that. *The drone happened to be in its ball mode, having legs out this time while the lens looked at the two.*

Chase: What the... that's the drone you were talking about?

???: This thing's got multiple forms depending on the situation Chase, don't expect to see it in the same form all the time.

Balloona X: Sorry Dronesy, Ryder assigned Chase to help me to find you

"Dronesy": I was hanging out up top while you were getting your briefing. Be thankful I'm not a part of Humdinger's mischief or there could've been some real problems. Plus, I know Chase here's allergic to kitten fur, and while close to this, he'd be sneezing up a storm.

Chase: Huh, fair point there.

"Dronesy": I'm full of them. *The legs folded in as the drone rolled in, having them pop out again and raise it up.* Now that you found me, let's see if I can help you out with finding out the problem.

Balloona X: Good, hopefully both Rocky and Joseph are doing ok.

"Dronesy": Y'know... I actually requested Joseph to help you guys out, he's a good friend of mine when it comes to business out here. Though... he sometimes has a few... "hiccups" with his work.

Balloona X: Let me guess, he's still a rookie and you're still trying to teach him?

"Dronesy": Technically, I'm sort of more... mechanically inclined, if you couldn't guess from the drone by now. I do give him some pointers on electrical bits and bobs here and there though.

*Meanwhile, Joseph and Rocky were looking over the blueprints and the box.*

Joseph: I just have no clue what happened little dude.

Rocky: Don't worry, my friends will find Balloona X's drone friend to helped us with this, since this drone friend of her help us rebuild the Lookout.

Joseph: Does explain the newer ring on halfway up. Form's got some talent...

Rocky: Form?

Joseph: Yeah, good pal of mine. Recommended I help you guys out with the electrical stuff.

Rocky: Huh, that explains everything now.

Joseph: Yeah... says he's got an identical brother too, but they're never around at the same time... it's either him or the other, never both, and it is scary how close they look to one another.

*The other three eventually came into view of the garage with the drone chatting with the two pups.*

"Dronesy": ...so, if my hunch is right, it's most likely a minor wiring mishap. Very easy to fi- oh, there you are Joseph. Rocky, pleasure to meet you face to... er, lens. Made sure to stay away from water, especially near those boxes?

Joseph: Ah Form, I see you got your drone here to help

Balloona X: Form?

Form: Yeah... he mainly refers me to that. We'll discuss about that more when you guys come up to visit... after we solve this who problem.

Balloona X: Ok then *Form's drone moved towards Joseph.*

Joseph: Sorry Form, I was trying my best here.

Form: Eh, happens. Now... let's see what we got here. Changing mode to hover mode, careful now pups and humans. *The pups step back away from the drone. The spherical drone had its form change to look more like a central spike shaped body with the camera being on top. A ring formed around the center with four other spikes popping out as it hovered.*

Form: There we go, that oughta do it.

Balloona X: Wow, cool new drone form.

Form: This thing has four modes that allow it for multiple purposes. Flight mode, crawler mode, hover mode, racer mode... *Rocky fake coughs at the drone.* What do you need exactly Rocky? The problem with the box?

Rocky: Well yes.

Form: It's just a simple wire cross mishap. Bottom two wires to be exact. Just switch them back to their right places and you're good.

Joseph & Rocky: That's it?

Form: Well yeah. In the right configuration, they'll obviously work perfectly. Wired incorrectly like this allows the power to still work, but every function would essentially be a bit screwy and work in a different manner. For example, the doors won't open when close to them, elevator buttons working backwards, and the TV's having weird bits to them.

Rocky: Fair enough.

Form: Yep... *The drone floated back down, morphing back into the ball form with legs, moving back to the group.* It's a simple fix. *Joseph went over to the new one, fixing the wires, then switched the power back on and closed them.*

Joseph: There we go, all fixed.

Form: Yep, we're all good now.

Joseph: Again, sorry about that...

Rocky: It's fine, we just have to be a bit more careful next time.

Joseph: Got it... yo Form, you want to give them the walk around for those extra bits you got for them?

Form: You mean the rooms? Yeah, I can walk them through it a bit.

Joseph: Cool, just meet me in my van if you need a ride back to your place, Form.

Form: Sure thing. C'mon you three, let's give you the official tour of the place properly. *The drone crawled off with the three pups following it, while Joseph remained behind, looking over the boxes. When the drone was at the ground floor level of the Lookout, it popped out a speaker from itself.*

Form: Heeeey yooou puuups! Meet up on the second floor! *The drone and the three pups started to run upstairs as the other pups started to use the elevator that is now working again to go downstairs.*

Chase: Positive this will go well?

Form: It should...

Rocky: Also, when did we get a series of stairs in this place?

Form: That was sort of a mandatory idea in case of fire hazards and anyone's on the second floor...

Rocky: Fair enough.

*The three pups and drone met up with the other four pups and Ryder who rejoined.*

Zuma: There you dudes are. What's with the weird ball there?

Balloona X: Guys, this is my drone friend.

Formula: Greetings Paw Patrol, my name is Form but it's actually a nickname. My real name is "Formula" to be precise.

Marshall: Formula? Like... a chemical kind?

Formula: Not exactly.

Chase: Then what exactly?

Formula: You'll find out later. Anyway... about time I do my explaining to the upgrades and such, huh?

Skye: A little info would be nice about these.

Ryder: So Formula, why did you decide to give us these rooms here?

Formula: Well... figured that there'd be these interesting rooms with the characteristics for each pup that serves as a place to rest and relax, especially towards the winter months. Now, who wants to see their room that I programmed to have in them?

Rubble: Guess it can't hurt... as long as it doesn't take too long before we eat.

Formula: Rubble, if you keep thinking about food all the time, you'll surpass Balloona's size soon enough. No offense...

Balloona X: None taken.

Formula: Now... who's up first?

Marshall: I guess I'll go first.

Formula: Alright. Obviously, the cubes correspond to the colors, so... pretty straight forward who goes where, but just in case, I did put a corresponding theme with them.

Marshall: I'll assume I've got a firehouse based one?

Formula: Bingo. *He walked to the door with Marshall's tag symbol. The door opened, showing off a brickhouse style firehouse interior, with a modern twist to it with the firehouse styled furniture.*

Marshall: Whoa! This looks so cool!

Formula: Namely, most firehouses have a number to them, so... kind of left that up to you.

Marshall: Maybe I'll go with 03

Formula: 03, huh? So... Firehouse Unit 03 it is.

Marshall: Yep

Rubble: I'd like to see my room next.

Formula: Easy enough. *The drone led the bulldog down to the yellow door with Rubble's tag symbol on it. When the door opened, it revealed a construction zone looking area interior, set with the equipment pieces and a food dispenser in it.*

Rubble: Wow! *He sees the food dispenser.* Oh finally!

Formula: See... this is why I always come prepared. *The legs folded up inside the drone, rolling back to the group.* Two down, five to go, who's next?

Skye: *barks* Me! Me!

Formula: Eager as always Skye. That energy shows in big ways. *The drone rolled over to the pink door with her symbol on it. Inside, it showed a hangar type area usually seen in airports and such.* I also put a special feature in this one.

Skye: Really, like what? *The drone extended a claw out, slowly flipping down a switch that made the walls, floor, and roof look completely see through.*

Formula: Simple theater trick. A bright light shines on these panels, and when it turns off, it reveals a much more interesting bit.

Skye: Cool, thanks Formula!

Formula: No prob, enjoy your hangar. *The drone flipped the switch back up, changing the walls back to the hangar styling to them.*

Zuma: I'd like to see what you did to my room.

Formula: With pleasure... *The drone walked over to the orange door. The interior had that beachside feel to it, with the small light patterns near the walls looking like ripples or waves on the water, as well as a slight speaker in the corners playing the ambience.*

Formula: Someone order a beach house per say?

Zuma: This is awesome!

Formula: Hope you enjoy the immersion of it.

Rocky: Well, let's hope there's no water in my room...

Formula: Relax... the water I did in Zuma's isn't real. It's a simple electric program that triggers the LED's to move in a sequence, making it look like the waves. Plus, the patterns can vary, since water's not consistent at points. But speaking of your room... *The drone walked over to the green door. The door opened to show off the room looking like a recycling plant with refurbished stuff.* A little hard to think of your theme honestly, so... kind of just reused some stuff here and there.

Rocky: Wow, good way to do recycling here.

Formula: Tried with what I had.

Chase: So what exactly did you do to my room?

Formula: What do you think is fitting well? I'll let you take a guess...

Chase: Uh... police force office?

Formula: Well done... *The drone went over to the blue door, opening it to show off a police office styled room, complete with a small cell to the side.* Got the small holding cell, lights and such, welcome to police unit 02 per say.

Chase: Huh, neat.

Formula: It is. Put you next to Skye as well. Well... between Rocky and Skye, but still...

Chase: Ok then.

Formula: That is six down, one to go...

Balloona X: I guess that leaves me?

Formula: You bet... *The drone walked over to the two-colored door of teal and sky blue.*

Balloona X: Huh, it matches my vest colors.

Formula: Actually... your tag colors. *The room showed off a rather fun looking room, lined with a few hoses, air tanks, pumps, and what not.* Hope you enjoy it. Sort of tried for the pressure management aspect, but in the end, may have leaned a bit too much towards the... inflation aspect of it. I still at least tried with it.

Balloona X: Hehehe, thanks Formula. *She looked next to her door and see the blank door.* But what about this room?

Formula: I did mention it before, it sort of serves as either a guest room, or in case you pick up an eighth member to stay here... you never know. Thankfully, every room does at least come with an extra bed in case something does happen.

Ryder: Wow, you are one smart... well drone.

Formula: Eh, happens. Could almost say I'm two people at once. *He chuckled a bit, going quiet for a bit before the mic turned back on.* Anyway... I think that's everything I have to show you. I think it's time for me to leave now...

Balloona X: Are you sure you have to leave now?

Formula: Yeah... kind of have to charge the drone up and all. Plus, remember that paper I gave you? You and two or three other pups of your choice go to those coordinates and I'll be waiting.

Balloona X: Ok then, hope to see you in person soon...

Formula: You will soon... *The drone extended a claw, gently scratching behind her ear a bit.*

Balloona X: Hehehehe

Formula: Until then... I'll see you guys around. *The leg retracted as the ball began rolling off.*

Balloona X: Man... I miss him already.

Chase: He legit just rolled down the the stairs.

Balloona X: It's felt longer already.

Chase: I don't know... I'm still a bit suspicious about him helping us.

Balloona X: He is trying to be nice to us, at least give him a chance.

Chase: I don't know... something just feels weird about him.

Balloona X: But for now, let's just relax in our new rooms for now.

Chase: Suppose you're right...

Zuma: Yeah dude, just relax for a bit.

Marshall: Just because you are a police pup, doesn't mean you have to act like this.

Chase: It's an unknown figure that could potentially be a spy to figure us out. Until I see for myself what he's really like, I can't fully trust him.

Balloona X: You already said you were coming with me, we'll set out soon to meet him. For now, take it easy.

Chase: Alright... I will.

Balloona X: For now, lets relax in our new rooms.

Rubble: *muffled* Been way ahead of you. *He was busy enjoy the treat machine in his room.*

Balloona X: Have you been eating from that the whole time?

Rubble: *muffled* Noooo?

Balloona X: At this rate, you will end up like me but fat instead.

Marshall: Guess Formula was right in a way, huh? *With the pups relaxing in their rooms, the van that Joseph arrived in began driving away with the drone in the front.*

Joseph: Again, sorry this happened today Form. I thought I had it all figured out.

Formula: We all make mistakes. It's better to catch them now to grow stronger.

Joseph: You know your voice thing is still on, right?

Formula: Yeah, I know... *A click could be heard as an Aussie accent came through the mic.* That's better. Should hear me clearly now, right mate?

Joseph: Yeah... how's Drift gonna handle this?

Formula: I don't know yet. That pup's going to be crazier than a dingo in the Outback, that's for sure.

Joseph: Y'know... I never asked... how did that accent come in?

Formula: I... don't know honestly... I'll figure it out soon though. We better be ready though compadre, cause we may have some visitors soon...
