A few weeks ago some dude ask me about how much will cost to re-make an old draw of these 3 in a "nigthified" form (If you're curious you can see the old drawing here)
Since then I couldn't take my mind away of it, it was simple times back then, years away before the CMC canonnically have their cutie marks so I did a Sweetie Belle thinking maybe the client will interest in pay for the other two... I did the other 2 just a few hours later without thinking ^^U I'm glad I did since I kept all my creative freedom. Said that don't think you can make me do stuff for free you sneaky weasels! >:3
There supposed to be a story behind this but alas it has been lost in the annals of time, I just remember they wondering around the ruins of the castle of the 2 sisters where Nightmare Moon was vanquished, some reminiscence of it still haunted the ruins and they made some kind of deal in order to have their CM you know the old pact with the devil trope. It didn't go well and they were currupted, now the little demons are filled with cruelty, madness and anger (Sweetie had some jelousy of her perfect sister, Scoots carrying her insecurities due her weak wings and AB angry due seemely stuck in the farm for the rest of her life) angtsty pre-teen stuff ^^
I don't remember what comes next or how they get rid of it I'm sure it was cringe back then so feel free to use this concept for your fanfics and don't expect I read them >:D
