"Aquatic prison"

For several hours, now, this lizard has been trapped in the shipwreck he'd been trying to explore. His air tank lasted him about 5 hours, his lungs another 17 minutes, and now he's been drowning for the past 6 minutes. Waterlogged and seemingly drunken, he reaches through the small window and weakly calls for help, so quietly that something would practically need to already see him to be able to hear it. His body can't hold on without air for much longer...

He's too weak to resist, and his mind is too dulled for him to even realize this isn't just a strong current. He lays on the bed, hiccupping every few seconds and trying to stay awake.

Starting to wake up, the lizard's drowned hiccups change to an aquatic coughing fit as his body starts trying to keep the water out again. He does soon manage to get that under control, though his shaky breaths of water still make him cough every now and then.

(No worries, I wouldn't do any better)

Now that he's more aware, the lizard's eyes go wide as he sees the ghost. "...I-if that's th-the price... *cough, cough* ...Th-that's fine..." His voice sounds a little odd from the water in his lungs, but it can still be understood.

The exhaustion starts quickly catching up with the lizard. He gets himself under the bed's waterlogged blankets, and soon falls asleep, calmly breathing the water around him as if it were air.

As his breathing finally goes back to normal, the lizard manages to lift the chest. "M-man, this is gonna be awesome!" With a lot of effort, he manages to get moving.
