Tranquil Vacation Day
When the Night Falls, I Am Free
Jess the revolutionary.

I've decided it's time to bring Jessamine back a little closer to her literary roots. While I'm happy to let her continue to be the cute little sexpot everybody seems to love, this is closer to how I see her - scared, hurt and angry, and on her own against her whole world. She's not exactly the most stable girl in the world, either. Even without the lifetime of abuse and repressed emotions, anyone who's one half predator and one half prey would have to have a few issues swirling around in there.

You certainly have a thing for Beatles songs... :)

Yeah, I suppose I do. That's what happens when you grow up listening to them, I suppose. Of course, I picked the title for this one because it was Happiness Is a Warm Gun, with it's violent images and rather creepy sexual innuendo that provided a lot of the inspiration for Jessamine and her story. So while, most of the time, I pick songs because I'm stuck for anything better to use as a title - and sadly unimaginative in that area - this one was planned out from the beginning.

*nod* Songs often play a part in my stories, either as titles, themes, or just inspiration, so I do understand. :)
