A god of death, born from the concept upon the creation of the world he inhabits. Mortis watches the world intensely, always keeping an eye on the mortal realm to help assist in sending the dead to the afterlife properly. He doesn't really feel one way or another about the mortals, feeling as though it would complicate things. He does, however, take frequent trips physically into the mortal realm, being somewhat curious about the lives they live before he inevitably has to claim them. Vita is his counterpart, and the two share a very complicated and tense relationship due to their duties. However, they seem to get along well enough, and their personal feelings rarely interfere with their work. Personality: Cold and unfeeling. Mortis does not get attached to mortals, and performs his duties as a god expertly. He's very focused, and doesn't like distractions. He is not one for talking much, but he shows a more tender, soft side when transporting mortals to the afterlife, often talking to them to ease their fear.
