I like the "silhouette" to him. Like if you were to paintbucket fill his entire shape in with black, the overall shape and outline looks interesting and has a shape and flow to it.
Your greatest strength as an artist is your detailed lineartz. I feel it has gotten more detailed since you drew this. I think the colors here are also good with the white background. When I pick colors from SAI's color wheel and square, I try to make a "shape" with the X/Y coordinates of the square and the radial coordinates of the circle. A sort of symmetry of the coordinates themselves, because my monitor's colors are not accurate.
His lil tail and expression are so cute~

I can spend an infinite amount of time only drawing linez, it's by far my favorite mental state during art, I love doing lineart~!
I started doing lineless a few years ago, starting the drawing with a huge sized brush in SAI. I start with the "silhouette" blocking out the shape of the character's full body. After I fill it in, I select that layer with the magic wand tool (so I cannot draw outside of it) and then I add new layers on top of that layer. One fun trick is to use the airbrush tool on a new layer, then to use an eraser tool on that mark to make one of the edges hard (like a line) and the other side fuzzy/soft. The eyes I do as eggs that I also lock with the magic wand to make the eyelids on a new layer. In my "lineless" art, I only add lines for the details at the end~ I think it would be interesting to see your take on lineless given your skills with lines.
