Hey All,

Looks like Fred's still trying to dodge a bullet, though she could probably stare right through him at this point and be just as effective. Regrets there are a few... first and foremost....yeah...

Till next week

Ooooo..I'm getting that not-so-subtle clue she's throwing at him.

That's boomer dads for you. Hate to apologise and admit they're wrong.

That describes all people in general. No need to single out boomers specifically like they've got the corner market there.

Look at Disney and the crap they keep churning out as fast as they can. Beloved, profitable IPs going down in flames and up in smoke because the company has decided to hate their fans, and going out of their way to insult and denigrate them at every turn.

A billion dollars in revenue loss could've been avoided if the simply apologized and admitted they were wrong about the direction they took their company. And instead they just continue to refuse to do that, opting instead to charge ahead at full speed towards financial ruin and insisting the fans are wrong for not liking their new direction.

I doubt there's anything else behind this other than "we have to do what the shareholders want us to do to keep them happy" and maybe "we just do what we think will make us the most money" (although by now it should be obvious that the current strategy isn't working out). At the end of the day it's just like any other giant corporation. They don't give a sh*t about the fans, they certainly don't spend the energy to "hate them". They just look at he bottom line. And yeah, that often makes things worse for the consumer.

Josie is so beautifully drawn here but her expression is so sad.
