After the movie 'Animal Crackers' came on Netflix I was reminded of a funny little song sung by Melanie Safka.
If you don't know, Melanie was a '60s folk singer who performed at Woodstock, but didn't make it onto my series of Woodstock anthro portraits.
It's a shame she's not better known because I am fond of her, so I decided to feature her in a TF/portrait that came together surprisingly fast. I chose a mouse because she's a little woman, and also because it fits her high, almost child-like singing voice. But I urge you to check her out - she does a version of 'Ruby Tuesday' that I think almost beats the Stones' version, and a cover of 'Lover's Cross' that knocks Jim Croce out of the park.
