The concept here is taken from the movie 'Jupiter's Darling' and a number where Esther Williams swims into a sunken Roman temple where the statues come to life and swim with her, but for reference while I was drawing this I spent more time watching her cartoon fantasy in 'Dangerous When Wet' where she swam with Tom & Jerry.
I believe at one point she said 'They were a lot more animated than most of my leading men.'
