Drew this after Albert Uderzo, the talented artist behind the Asterix comics passed away. I've loved the Asterix comics ever since I was a kid - there's almost no better comic for lovable characters, hilarious dialogue and sight gags, and surprisingly sharp satire.
A while back I had this idea of drawing Asterix as a fox, and Obelix as a bear, which brought up a very obvious parallel that suited these characters just as well as Disney's bear and fox.
