Something I did in honor of the late Stephen Sondheim's 90th birthday. After seeing a former classmate play John Wilkes Booth in a local production of his dark musical 'Assassins' I started drawing an anthro version of the cast, and it turned out fairly well. The musical looks at the lives of nine real-life presidential assassins, and it is not meant to celebrate or excuse their actions (and neither is this pic) - it's meant to be an examination of the dark side of the American dream and how it can also inspire dark actions in disappointed people.
