I don't know how many out there are aware of the songs of Scottish folk-rocker Donovan Leitch, but I'm almost as crazy about him as I am about the Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, The Moody Blues and... lots of them. I've wanted to do a TF based on one of his songs for a while, but couldn't think of a species that suited the trippy, playful, laid back attitude of his songs. He does a lot of bird songs (Magpie, Peregrine, Kingfishers) but those don't seem to evoke him enough.
This song, if you've never heard it, has a very slinky, feline-sounding beat. Donovan even throws in a little "Mrrrow!" at one point.
