Everyone always gives Sigma crap, but I feel he's a great villain. A personal vendetta from Wily that evolved into something that would destroy the world. It makes me wish they brought Wily and have him join you to stop the Sigma/Zero Virus cause it was bringing the world to ruin.

Plus, it was implied I think, that Sigma was already insane, but hid it well. The Virus only brought it out. Man, the Maverick Hunter game never had a chance. And hey, if Dr. Light could make upgrades and capsules around the world, what about Wily? Anything to one up his rival again.
