She was turned into a Vampire in 1778 in New England.
Personality
Background/History
A vampire invaded her family's home killing her parents but, sparing her. She was bit instead of killed by the vampire thus slowly transforming Mellisa into a vampire herself. The effect wasn't immediate but she slowly over the days started showing more signs of being a vampire. her cravings were kicking in, her ears were getting more pointy and although she could be out in the day light she couldn't be in it for too long without taking damage.
Another side effect is that she can never age. She will forever look 7 years old despite being much older than anyone else around her. She fled the town because she feared that if the towns people find out she's become one of them that she will be burned at the stake.
In modern times she attends elementary schools to keep up the act of being a 7 years old. she usually attend to a school in a district for 3 years from Grade 1-3 then move on to a new school to not tip off anyone that she is not what she seems.
In the process to keep herself fed she likes to attract the scum of the earth and feed on them. Any predator who try to make moves on her usually ends up having a bad day and she ends up eating good.
