Last weekend we lost the iconic Jimmy Buffett, singer of a thousand songs, and drinker of as many margaritas. As with so many other Parrotheads, my introduction to his music was through Margaritaville, and from there I discovered a whole new kind of music that changed everything. I'll often have his music on, singing along to the likes of Cheeseburger in Paradise, Volcano, or Fins (Anca's favourite song). When I introduced my mother to his music, she was hooked as well.

He meant so much, and for him to be gone seems surreal, and it hurts so much. Thanks for all the wonderful music and happy memories, Jimmy. Fair winds and following seas ❤🍸
