Hello again. To start off, this isn't something I'm gonna completely do, I'm just trying this figure review idea out just to expand my content aside from just drawing art, or even making customs of figures, so please tell me if I should do this more or what I'll need to improve for next time, and tomorrow I'll post art, now on with the review.
This is the Super Mario Figure 3 Pack by Jakks Pacific, we'll start off with the titular character. Mario is 4 inches tall, 13 POA, and very poseable. He's quite an improvement on the individual Mario figure, with having fists instead of open hands, a bigger smile, and better sculpting, the only problem I can find is the painting and on some examples it could be a bit off. But other than that, for a Mario Figure it's a 10/10.
Next up, Toad. He's slightly over 3 inches tall, 9 POA, and fairly poseable. The sculpting and painting on him is really nice, I like this one a lot. However, with that big mushroom head, he does have the problem of being a little top-heavy if you don't have his legs/feet positioned correctly. but that should be no big deal if you know how to position him, a good 10/10.
And finally, we have Princess Peach, she stands at about 4 and a half inches tall, has 5 (maybe 6) POA, and she's not too poseable. The sculpt of her is not the same as the original Peach, and her painting is okay. The problems on her is that she has legs which kinda make her a little wobbly, and really look damn horrifying if you look close enough under good lighting conditions. She has a VERY loose waist which is kind of annoying, and I think she has movement in the head, but I can't really tell because her hair gets in the way and it feels like it could snap off so I'm not gonna bother with it. Another, more major problem (at least to me) is scaling, she is really short, and it's kind of awkward when she's paired next to figures that ether tower over her, or make her look like a kid. Even though I don't own the original figure, I'd argue it was probably better by a long shot.
Overall, with an improved Mario, a pretty good Toad, and a downgraded Peach for just $28, I'd say it'd be worth getting, if you want accurate versions of at least two of the characters. Yeah, they should've given us the original Peach figure even if it didn't come with accessories, but maybe the stores wanted the box to be smaller, so they could've made this lackluster one to satisfy retail shelves. If you happen to find this 3 Pack at a Target or wherever, I'd say it's a must have.
Thanks for reading this VERY long review, I hope at least some of you liked it and would want me to make more like these and hopefully not as long, and better.
