I prefer not responding to assumptions about a situation when there is little to imply that their assumption is accurate. There's nothing indicating that Roxy wasn't coming straight from work after getting knocked. Nothing implying she didn't get imaging. The lack of treatment for her cut may speak to her character; that is up to the reader to decide. There is no union in the Wilcox Police Department. Police unions serve as barriers to officer accountability IRL. I won't get into it in this comic. Department politics are a drain on my life force. However, unlike in Tell Me More, where there is shady shit in all levels of the police department, the Wilcox PD, given that they're in one of the most crime-ridden cities in the world, operates on transparency and community participation. That will be touched upon in the future.
