Sorrowful Origins And New Beginnings
A white female wolf with ice blue markings is rushed into the ER her situation is getting worse by the moment a doctor orders ‘’labour kit ready stat’’ nurses hurry and prepare for the young one about to arrive the doctor then says in an authoritative way ‘’I need medical on Elysium Kibume now and how many is she expecting’’ the midwife says in a reserved manner to the doctor ‘’she is expecting two’’ Elysium’s pulse drops and the nurses give her an injection to keep her stable, soon her medical notes show up and the doctor looks them over ‘’we need to be careful of her heart and try to save her if possible’’ her husband Floof stands there in the doorway watching worried and soon her contractions start, a nurse then says as calmly as possible ‘’her contractions have started and she’s started pushing’’ the doctor and midwife come over ‘’good keep that up Elysium you’re doing great’’ the midwife gets the pup out after a few minutes of pushing and they get their airways going and the midwife says out loud ‘’we have a boy’’ the pup is a pure dark blue and cries out loud, Elysium looks too weak to carry on but she pushes out the other pup which was still born and pure black, another boy the midwife says sorrowfully ‘’we couldn’t save this one I’m sorry’’ Elysium looks up ‘’can you bring me my living son to me please’’ Elysium knows she doesn’t have long left for this world and wants to spend her last moments with her son and Floof a nurse goes to the husband and says worried ‘’sir your wife doesn’t have long left go to her’’ he goes to Elysium and holds her hand she says warmly ‘’you’re gonna be amazing some day son I know you are you’re gonna do so many amazing things I just wish I could see you do those things’’ she cries and holds onto her husband’s hand ‘’I love you my son my dear... Ryan’’ the heart monitor beeps and soon flat lines, Floof holds onto her hand and looks down at his crying son weeping himself and he picks them up, holding them closely ‘’don’t worry Ryan daddy’s got you daddy’s here I love you’’ he cries himself hugging them
As the weeks rolled by Floof was put in contact with a nurse a fox named Vix, who registered her name in being a surrogate and worked with Elysium during her time of pregnancy and helped raise Ryan, as well she even had a daughter of her own she named Zarla who became a close friend to Ryan from her previous husband, who she divorced and never talked about just wanting to move on with her life and tried her best to be a mother figure to Ryan, as the years rolled by Ryan never smiled laughed or played much, he knew all the time that his mother was gone and soon it was about 6 years, every birthday Ryan would normally hide away in his bedroom not wanting to do anything, but this year Vix and Floof had a plan to try and get something out of Ryan to try and get him to smile or have some form of a reaction, they decided between them to try and take him out to a local animal shelter
It was a hot day in late July the sky was clear and it was a little breezy, Floof walked into Ryan’s room to try and wake him he was reluctant to get out of bed on his birthday, as usual his father said to him firmly ‘’son I don’t want you to be like this all the time come on it’s about time we had a change of pace’’ his son hid under his covers ‘’I don’t want to do anything please just leave me be’’ Floof gets a little annoyed and gave Ryan a more serious tone, that makes him listen ‘’Ryan I’m going to only say this once, I’m gonna give 20 minutes to be dressed and ready to go out with Vix Zarla and myself and we’re gonna have a day to enjoy, for once I’m not asking for me do it for your mother please’’ Ryan thinks for a moment and then pulls his covers off sighing saying flatly ‘’OK’’ Floof smiles at him saying warmly ‘’that’s my boy come on Vix and Zarla will be here soon so be ready’’ Ryan goes to get dressed and ready for Vix and Zarla
