Here's Hanna Bloom's paternal grandmother when she was young. about 14. Like Hanna, she's a tomboy who likes sports like cricket (some sports in UK) and is also spunky. I googled on Tomboy fashion from 50s-60s. I must admit, Young Orchid's clothes are pretty similar to Peppermint Patty from the Peanuts comics. Except Orchid wears shoes and socks while Patty is barefoot and wears sandals and Orchid is wearing a long sleeved (folded) shirt.

Even as an old adult she still loves sports and she still has her skills.
