A little idea inspired by Marvel's What If? In an alternate universe, Sweet Polly Purebred is a girl who works as rookie reporter. But when the call for help is heard, she tells her boss she has to take a powder, and heads for a phone booth or any other place, where she transforms into Underdog.
Yes, inspired by the episode where Peggy Carter would become the first Avenger instead of Steve Rogers, here, Sweet Polly Purebred is Underdog, wearing her own take on the costume, which is a leotard, boots, and cape. What makes her different is that unlike Shoeshine Boy, she is less clumsy and is more careful, and she still has the ring for the Underdog Super Energy Pills.
As for Shoeshine Boy, he is a mild-mannered shoeshine boy that Polly saves.
