"Hey you ready to go yet?" Katie asked waiting outside a door
"Almost, just getting dressed" A voice called out from behind the door
"Seriously, you take longer than I do to get ready for the day" Katie remarked
"My alarm didn't go off on time, I'm just having a late start getting dressed" The voice called out
Katie stood there waiting as the door soon opened up as Joey walked on out of his room dressed up for the day, carrying a bag of clean clothes to wear.
"Bout time slowpoke, are you finally ready?" Katie asked with a smile
"Yeah I'm ready, so how will we get there? Do you have your own car?" Joey asked some curiously
"No, we won't be driving there" Katie replied as she began to dig around her own bag
"I really hope you aren't saying we will be walking, that could take all day" Joey replied nervously
"Of coarse not silly" Katie replied as she soon found what she was looking for "AHA! Here it is"
Katie soon pulled out a small, strange looking hand held device before fiddling with some buttons on it.
"Ummm, what is that thing exactly?" Joey asked
"This is something i made, its a type of portal gun" Katie explained
"Like from that game?" Joey asked trying to understand it
"Sort of, except this thing actually would work, the device in that game wouldn't work in real life " She replies as she soon finishes adjusting the device
Pointing the device at a wall, she activates it and produces a swirling green portal on the wall of Joey's home.
"We just have to step through and we will be there instantly" Katie replied as she walked up to the portal
"This thing won't mess up the wall will it?" Joey asked looking at the portal nervously
"It will be fine, I have the bugs worked out of this thing...mostly" Katie answered some
"Wait, mostly? What sort of bugs are we talking about?" Joey asked worriedly
"No time to explain, lets go!" Katie replied excitedly pulling Joey with her through the portal
In a flash Joey soon found himself standing in another room entirely, looking around, joey found himself in some sort of lab.
"Well here we are!" Katie exclaimed happily setting her device down on a table
"Where is here exactly?" Joey asked confused
"This, is my lab!" Katie exclaimed loudly as a computer screen flicked on showing off a labrador running around a yard "And this is my laboratory!" Katie exclaims again turning on the lights to show off the rest of her lab where she invents stuff
"Awww, Riola loved that when she first visited my lab" Katie replied
"It is impressive still, never imagined seeing a high tech lab in my life" Joey replied looking at a few things around the room
"Yeah, well we can sight see around this place another day, for now its time to get to the beach!" Katie exclaimed excitedly pulling Joey along
"EEP! Is all the pulling necessary?" Joey asked following along
"Well if I don't you will just stop and look at everything and we will never get to the beach" Katie answered
Joey just followed Katie outside her lab and down the halls of the castle. Joey looked all down the halls as they soon came up to door that Katie t opened up quickly to reveal the outside overlooking a large beach as all of the others that Joey saw at the pool were there on the beach doing various activities. Katie led her friend down a pathway to the beach giggling happily seeing the others were already there. Looking about Joey could see a ninetails and a braixen playing volleyball with a panthress and lioness, and he could just make out a pair of renamons, one looked like a kit, as they were collecting seashells on the shore.
"Looks like the party started without us, lets hurry before we miss the whole thing!" Katie commented leading Joey on down the pathway, speeding off to the beach excitedly
Esmerelda smiled and looked on over seeing their little otter princess had finally showed up with her friend, as Katie approached her smiling widely.
"My my, your usually the first one out here, for our beach days, what happened this time?" Esmerelda asked some playfully and curiously
"Hehe, Joey here was fashionably late" Katie explained
"Actually my alarm didn't go off like it was supposed to" Joey corrected
"Or did you just hit the snooze button repeatedly to sleep in more?" Katie asked with a slight grin
Joey just eeped some "no that's not what happened"
"Hehe, lazy butt!" Katie teased playfully
"Well I brought your surfboards out like you asked, they are outside the changing tents" Esmerelda replied
Katie gave the queen a happy hug smiling wide "Thank you for that"
"You're welcome, just be safe you two" Esmerelda replied
Katie waved to the queen as she ran off to the tents as Joey followed along closely to keep up. Reaching the white and blue striped tents Katie smiled and opened one of them up waving for Joey to follow her inside. Joey walked in seeing Katie wanted them to help each other change like at the pool and wagged some happily finding it kind of fun and cute.
"hehe so ready to learn how to surf?" Katie asked as she closed the tent
"Surf? I suppose, I have always been interested in it" Joey replied
"Good, once we get change, I can start teaching you" Katie replied
Katie hummed happily as she pulled out two swim diapers and a couple bikini tops and held them up to Joey, making him blush brightly .
"Hehehe, blushy otter! Do you want to wear the bikini top with your swim diapee or no bikini top?" Katie asked
"What happened to the swimsuit?" Joey asked
"Swimsuit is for the pool, here on the beach its bikini top" Katie replied giggling playfully
Joey just blushed fumbling his fingers together a bit nervously as he tried to hide his face behind his tail, "Ummm.... I can wear the bikini top with the swim diapee"
Katie tried to keep herself from giggling as she hear Joey call it a diapee like she did "Hehe, you're becoming a big baby butt like me"
Joey just blushed realizing what she was talking about, before he was being stripped down by Katie.
"Lets see if the baby otter kept his undies dry" Katie teased pulling his shorts on down "Hehe yup, no wet spots here, maybe you weren't lying about being a big boy" Katie commented playfully
Joey just blushed cutely and smiled "Hehe, yup I told you i was!"
"Well, I might believe you this time, if you don't go potty in your swim diapee again like you did at the pool" Katie replied laying Joey down on a towel
Joey just blushed laying there in his underwear as he was stripped out of them and soon found Katie slipping on a pair of swim diapers around him, bearing prints of a baby Isabelle with water wings and small scallop shells around her. Katie chuckled patting his swim diaper after she finished pulling it on up around him snuggly threading his tail through the back.
"There you go, try not to go peepee on Isabelle too quickly" Katie teased making Joey blush more
She smiled pulling one of her old pink bikini tops on over Joey slipping it on around him fitting it on properly.
"Hehe, there now your ready for a day at the beach" Katie replied helping Joey on up
Joey stood on up blushing at his attire, but his swishing tail betrayed him, showing that he actually liked it. Katie smiled and stuck her tongue out at Joey playfully before giving him a hug.
"Hehe, silly sissy butt! My turn now!" Katie replied happily waiting to get changed as well
Joey just nodded his head and and helped strip Katie down to her bra and diaper, as he blushed more. Katie smiled and laid down on the towel for him as Joey saw she was already wet, and got her changing supplies ready and had quickly got her out of her wet diaper and got her clean and dried on up, before slipping on a similar swim diaper on around her, making sure it was nice and snug.
"Ahhh, feels good to be nice and dry again" Katie commented playfully tickling Joey with her tail
Joey giggled some feeling his belly being tickled by her tail as he grabbed her bikini top and tried to get in close enough to help her change out of her bra and into her bikini top. Katie grinned and stopped tickling the poor otter s he could finish changing her and before long, Katie was soon wearing her top.
"Hehe, your too ticklish!" Katie commented as she poked Joeys nose
"I can't help it if I am" Joey exclaimed blushing more
"I know, but its what makes you so cute!" Katie teased
The two walked on out smiling as Riola grinned and giggled seeing them leave the tent together, making a kissing face teasingly at the two otters. Katie merely stuck her tongue out in response to Riola as the white kitten returned to building a sandcastle with a smaller blue kitten looking mon, Sapphire.
"Does she always tease you like that?" Joey asked trying not to laugh
"She is a kitten, she likes to tease all of us sometimes, but its why we love her, she is too cute to stay mad at" Katie explained walking up to the surfboards in back of the tent
Joey looked at the two, seeing a buizel looking surfboard, and another that had Stitch on it.
"I get it, using surf to ride on the back of a pokemon, right?" Joey asked pointing to the buizel board
"Hehe yeah, I thought it was cute and funny little idea so i got this board for you to use to learn surfing" Katie replied handing Joey the buizel board
"Thank you, it's very nice for you to do so" Joey answered holding the board in his paws
"Well let's get going then, there's a lot to learn if you wanna be a surfer like me!" Katie replied proudly
Joey nodded his head and walked on up to the water looking over at a blue furred vixen giggling at his attire, causing Joey to blush and hide behind his board.
"That's just Krystal, she won't tease you like Riola would, but she might still call you cute though" Katie remarked as she hopped into the water onto her board
Joey and tried to copy her but failed, as his board floated away from him and fell face first into the water. Katie did her best to not laugh as she caught his board and held it steady for him.
"Almost, but next time, be sure to firmly grasp it in your hands" She explained
Joey nodded his head as he tried to climb on top of the board wobbling a bit on it.
"It takes some time to find your balance, once you do its like riding a bike, you wont really forget how to balance yourself" Katie explained sitting on the edge of her board
Joey wobbled a bit on his board before flipping over and falling back in the water. Joey looked some holding himself a float with his board for a bit, before he flipped it right side up and climbed back on top. Katie watched as Joey was on his hands and knees as he began to find his balance, before a small wave of water flowed on up to them causing Joey to become startled. Gripping his board tightly, Joey tried his best to stay balanced on his board, as he squeaked out out some nervously.
"Relax silly, it was only small wave, not like it was a giant tidal wave or anything, just take a deep breath and calm yourself some, if you keep getting this paniced you won't ever find your balance" Katie tried to explain
Joey just nodded some closing his eyes and took a deep long breath, finding his center. Katie smiled some seeing the otter calm back down and watched as he stood up on his board wobbling only a little bit before finding his footing and balance/
"Perfect! That's much better, all you had to do was just calm down, now then, we will just work on staying balanced when a small wave hits, we won't tackle the actual waves till your comfortable on the water while using your board" Katie explained
Joey nodded his head some feeling a little nervous but also excited, seeing he was starting to get the hang of surfing. He watched as a small wave rolled up towards the two, lifting the two otters up a bit and pushed them towards shore. Katie smiled some finding the ride fun, but Joey just fell off his board not used to riding a wave yet.
"It will take some practice, but you will find out how to shift your weight to stay on the wave and not let it throw you around" Katie replied as she paddled over towards Joey
Katie held the board for Joey to climb back onto as he wiped the seawater of his face a bit after resurfacing.
"This is harder than I'd thought it'd be" Joey commented as he sat on his board
"Yeah, I never said it would be easy, I did say it would be fun though" Katie answered
"If you call wiping out every two seconds fun" Joey remarked shaking a bit calming down from his last wipe out
"Aww, now don't be like that, you'll get the hang of it, I didn't get it right way either, practice makes perfect, before you know it you'll be riding the big waves" Katie replied cheerfully
Joey sighed some and nodded "Yeah i know, but you make it look so easy"
"That's what happens when you practice a lot, it gets easier" Katie replied
Joey smiled some and nodded getting back up on his board keeping his balance as another small wave rolled in. Joey focused his attention and managed to keep himself balanced as the wave pushed the two on back a little bit.
"See? You're getting it, once you feel more comfortable we will try for the actual waves" Katie commented smiling at how fast Joey was catching on
Joey smiled happily feeling more confident that time and kept at it for about thirty minutes, before feeling confident in his abilities to give the actual waves a try.
"Looks like we might be able to try and do the actual waves, it's looking like you could stay up on your board now in your sleep" Katie commented proudly seeing Joey improving
"Well, not that I would really, but yeah, I feel ready to at least try the actual waves" Joey exclaimed happily having fun
Katie nodded and waved for him to follow her lead as she paddled on out for a bit into the water to catch a wave, as Joey soon paddled on up next to her. The two watched for a bit feeling the water stir as a wall of water came hurdling right at them.
"Get ready, here comes the wave!" Katie called out as she got up on her board
Joey looked and quickly got up onto his board as the wave quickly reached the two. Katie began to ride the wave near its base skimming along the side of the wave as Joey tried to follow her. Instead of following after Katie though, Joey found himself gliding up to the top of the wave uncontrollably, as he tried to shift his weight to ride along the side. Joey could only watch in fright, as he soon reached the top of the wave flying up into the air spinning around some as Joey screamed out thinking he was going wipe out for sure, before landing on top of the wave, causing him to skim the top of the wave. The others on the shore watched on as Joey flailed his arms wildly trying to stay balanced as the rush of wind and the spay of the water started to throw him off a bit. Just as Joey thought he might be able to stay up on his board, he was soon flung forward, launching him into the air, before he crashed down into the water. Katie watched a bit and quickly swam over to where Joey crashed down at, just as Joey surfaced on up spitting out some sea water.
"Joey, are you okay!?" Katie asked worriedly seeing that bad wipe out
"Yeah i'm fine, but that was.... that was...." Joey replied as he tried to calm his nerves
"I know that had to be terrif.." Katie replied before she got cut off
"AWESOME!" Joey shouted loudly enough for the others on the beach to hear "I mean, sure that wipe out was pretty scary, but still, did you see that three-sixty? For a complete fluke of a trick, it was the most exciting thing ever!"
"Well as long as your all right, do you wanna go again or was that enough excitement?" Katie asked happy to see was all right
"You bet I wanna go again, I can't wait to be as good as you are!" Joey exclaimed before swimming after his board to ride again
Katie smiled watching as Joey reclaimed his board and paddled alongside her back out into the water to ride yet another wave.
