This is a new design of The Rabbit of Ruby. The old design looked like an oddly shaped chaos emerald with a necklace string (Sure it had rabbit ears but still the the gem needed a better designing to make it look like a rabbit). So I decided to make it a coinlike thing with animal shaped gemstone on the center of the amulet/coin. I did my best to draw it in different angle.

lightningblade1994-blog and I discussed about redesigning the gem and idea of making the Zodiac Gems (12 Zodiac animals) and they might be part of the Chaos emeralds.

One day, i'm gonna make a better remake of The Hunting for the Rabbit of Ruby after finishing some stories of my Sonic AU Mainstream series in order to make that story a part of the canon of the series or else things will get convoluted and confusing. same goes to A Spark in Time (after finishing the original one) and Juniper of Ebon. And same for the Comic adaptaion for my Christmas fanfiction Hanna's Squirrel Tale.
