Ah, why not upload a song here? I just threw this together and recorded it rather quickly, but it's a sweet sort of song that I think benefits from not being too well produced.

Thank you! Yes that's my actual singing voice - though I put it in such weird places at times that it's almost like anything is my voice, hah. But thank you again. :3

Sure! If you're using an acoustic guitar I would recommend you use a capo on the first fret to avoid having to use masterclass yoga skills. The chords are a lot simpler than they might look and are all really close to each other.

G#sus4 A#m7

Here the pacing gets a little weird, break it up with a second G# and then follow up with Fm F# and another G#

G#sus4 F#9
Both the derpaderp part and the fast part follow this basic progression, but afterwards you move to the verse chords for the ending.

If this is a little confusing I can tell you how to do the chords or with lyrics beside them so you know where they change.

inbuilt microphone? cause my mac has a microphone and it makes echoes when i talk into it

Thank you!

And you might not believe it, but this is a pretty professional microphone (my setup might be considered very budget though), I purposefully finagled the echo effect in a way that allowed me to scale it up and down without damaging the dynamics in the song. (I wanted the echo to come halfway into the chorus.) Not that I'm saying you should be happy with your echo mic, mind you.. it's annoying when you can't control it.

I've already written about fifty pony songs, so.. heh.. you're probably onto something dangerously close to the truth! :D

And thank you, I'm glad you liked the lyrics enough to use technology to put words to paper on the matter. A little derpiness is only natural when experimenting like so. I'm okay with a little corn so long as the ponies enjoy it!
