Really pleased about this one. For a while I'd felt my music was a bit melancholic and I really wanted to do something about it. So I dug out some old lyrics and started writing some music for them. Horizon was the first of those songs and that kickstarted this whole album. It came together really quickly after that and includes some brand new songs too, including one of my faves, Spezie Italiane which was one of those magical songs where the whole thing was written in a few minutes. As you can see from the album cover, there's also the link to Mei Hem and in many ways, I see Horizon as a theme for Mei Hem.
So, this has been one of the most enjoyable albums I've ever put together, full of songs I really love so I hope you'll enjoy them too.
