Gao-Zan, a Gaomon raised by animals and became king of the jungle, with Gato-Jane, a Gatomon who fell in love with him, left her civilized home and stay by his side as his wife and became queen of the jungle. Now poor Gato-Jane has been captured by a tribe of cannibals who are planning to literally have her for dinner. Now it's up to you, the player, to help Gao-Zan to rescue his mate from her clutches of doom.
Stages of each level
Stage 1: Gao-Zan has to swing from vine to vine to reach the river and begins his dive there, but he has to avoid the monkeys and has to time the swings right
Stage 2: Gao-Zan has to swim across the jungle river to shore, he arms himself with his stone dagger to protect himself from the alligators there, and avoid the whirlpool areas, and has to get to the surface for air
Stage 3: Gao-Zan has to get to the top of the mountain to reach the village, but have to avoid the boulders along the way, jump over the ones that roll lower while crouching under the ones that roll higher
Stage 4: Gao-Zan has to save Gato-jane before they lower her into the cooking pot, but he has to avoid their spears and didn't get into the pot himself
Once all four stages have been clear it's up to the next level.
Bonus Score timer of Level 1 is 5000, while each next level gets +1000 each. When you clear a level by that time limit, you gain bonus points for that time left.
You start out with 3 Lives, Extra Lives gain for every 10,000 points, while when you lost all your lives, it's Game Over.
For each vine that he swings on in stage 1, alligators defeated on stage 2, boulders dodged in stage 3, cannibal warriors jump over in stage 4 gain you points.
Stage points: Level 1: 100
Level 2: 300
Level 3+: 500
In each stage of the level, you see 3 flowers the symbolize Gao-Zan's bouquet to Gato-jane, red, blue, and yellow.
Collect them for bonus points: Level 1: 300
Level 2: 500
Level 3+: 800
Stage 1 controls: Joystick: no action; Action button: Jump
Stage 2 controls: Joystick: up, down, left, right swim; Action button: Attack
Stage 3 and 4 controls: Joystick: left and right to move, and down to crouch; Action button: Jump

Gao-Zan, a Gaomon raised by animals, became the king of the jungle. His beloved companion, Gato-Jane, a Gatomon, abandoned her civilized home to become his queen. However, Gato-Jane is captured by a tribe of cannibals who plan to feast upon her. Determined to save his mate, Gao-Zan embarks on a perilous journey to rescue her.

**Level Stages:**

**Stage 1: The Jungle Trek**

* Swing from vine to vine to reach the river.
* Avoid monkeys and time swings precisely.
* Collect red flowers for bonus points.

**Stage 2: The River Joust**

* Swim across the river while avoiding alligators and whirlpools.
* Use a stone dagger to defend against alligators.
* Surface for air regularly.
* Collect blue flowers for bonus points.

**Stage 3: The Mountain Ascent**

* Climb the mountain to reach the village.
* Dodge boulders rolling down the path.
* Crouch under boulders rolling lower, and jump over boulders rolling higher.
* Collect yellow flowers for bonus points.

**Stage 4: The Village Assault**

* Save Gato-Jane before she's lowered into the cooking pot.
* Avoid spears thrown by cannibal warriors.
* Dodge the cooking pot to prevent being cooked yourself.
* Collect additional flowers for bonus points.

**Completion:**

Upon completing all four stages, Gao-Zan rescues Gato-Jane and returns to the jungle.

**Scoring System:**

* Vine swings: 1=100, 2=300, 3+=500
* Alligators defeated: 1=100, 2=300, 3+=500
* Boulders dodged: 1=100, 2=300, 3+=500
* Cannibal warriors jumped over: 1=100, 2=300, 3+=500
* Flowers collected: 1=300, 2=500, 3+=800

**Level Bonuses:**

* Bonus score timer: 5000 for Level 1, +1000 for each subsequent level
* Bonus points for time remaining at the end of each level

**Game Mechanics:**

* Joystick: Movement
* Button: Action
* 3 Lives
* Extra Lives earned for every 20,000 points
* Game Over if all lives are lost
